I've only been back a couple of times and that was mostly to support dad

  :lol: Of course you haven't
Well, and that's a good thing. He's needed your support very much.
I think part of why she said what she said, was her faith, and part of it was what, basically the whole town had witnessed by a grieving widow.
There was a woman who had married a much older man in town. They'd been married maybe 15 years or so, and he passed away. That poor woman was at his grave every single day, from dawn to dusk. Nearly any kind of weather.
She had a park bench put by his grave, and you'd see her sitting there wrapped in a blanket, or reading a book, eating her lunch, etc.
She'd had much opportunity for grief support, and those who spoke with her said she was doing okay, she just wanted to be near him.
It was really sad to see. It went on for a couple or three years, then I guess she got past that, and got on with her life.
That was when my mom really started in on not going to her grave when she passed.

At the time I didn't like it, but have been thankful for the release from it.
This way I continue to associate her more from memories when she was still here, than having the headstone as how I associate or connect...but, I'm weird.
How you handle grief, or respect the passing of close loved ones is a completely personal thing.
We all do what makes us feel most comfortable.

The gal I work with lost her mother a year after I did. She can't imagine not going to the grave.
We're all different, and I don't think there's a right or wrong way to handle it. :)

I agree. Grieving is a very personal, individual experience

    Good night lurkers.:wub::wub::wub:

Thank you, Billie. You're a sweetheart!

You should have a portable system that you can easily transport your stuff:(

Hope you are able to get that done before the day is over.

I have a 3 drawer storage container with over 200 bottles in it kind of hard to move without tipping them over. Last time that happened I had a huge mess I had to re-bottle everything

Get some smaller containers that will fit and put your flavoring for a mix in them, eliminate one big mess and easily get what you need:)
