Rise and shine! Good morning everyone :) Coffee time then, come sunrise, time to batten down the hatches for our forecast 35-40, gusting to 55mph winds ahead of a big front rolling in today. At least the temps will climb to 48°F today so I can watch more snow melt. Maybe today will be the day I can find all my bird feeder posts beneath the snow. Haha!

    Good morning BB

It's raining here this morning but I'm hoping it quits before we start home from dads

Good morning, Dale, Fran, Joey, BB, Sara and the rest of the lurkers .

What a miserable trip to Houston yesterday. Leave it to TxDOT to close down all but one lane of the beltway! :-x
I barely made it to the airport on time, about 10 minutes after my DW landed. But it looked like every international flight of the day came in at the same time and that place was awful! It took over an hour for her to get out. Once we took off, decided to stop and get the shopping done so we wouldn't have to do anything today. It's raining anyway. I didn't get to bed until 11, which is incredibly late for me. I actually feel like I have a hangover from being up so late. Me and late hours don't get along well. So, I guess it'll be a day of not having to do much of anything except relax.

Hope you all have a great Sunday!:thumb:

Good morning, Paul. Ugh, that sounds absolutely awful. I'm glad you both are home. Sorry that you are feeling amiss right now. Maybe it's good that you'll have a day where you aren't on the go the whole time. But then even that can sometimes make you feel worse. Try and relax and spend some quality time with DW. Then the day won't be a complete waste. If it weren't raining, I'd say go do something together.

    Good morning all.

Dale, hope things go smoothly today. (((Hugs)))
    When do you leave??

Oh Paul, sounds like that was a dreadful trip to the airport.
I get the same way if I go to bed too late too.
Hope you have a relaxing day with DW. :)

Sounds like a fun day ahead Joey. Be careful if you skate...we don't bounce back as easily if we take a spill, and bones break much easier at our age.:2c:

...sorry, I should have grabbed quotes.

The movie we watch last night was good. I don't think it's a new one, it was a Tom Hanks move, Bridge of Spies.
It was like 2.5 hours long, and didn't need to be that long,..but, definitely worth watching.

I also finished the book that I mentioned a few days ago.
"The Fairy Tale Girl" by Susan Branch. I very much enjoyed it. Any of the ladies who are 50 or over here, would prob like it, well, even younger gals would prob like it too, they just might not remember things that she writes about.
She's the cookbook author I mentioned, this book is listed as a "memoir", "graphic novel". The first of a series of three.
Like her cookbooks, all beautifully illustrated by her.
She has a really great blog too. susanbranch.com

Okay, that's about all I've got...need to run and eat, then figure out what to have for dinner. :)
