In your nightmares
Good morning Joey, BB, Dale and the sleeping lurkers

Joey, yum, enjoy those waffles. :)

Dale, thanks for the scrumptious breakfast and wise words ;)
How are you feeling this morning?

So do you think we didn't let it cook long enough? You added the veggies to it when it was doing the natural release? How does that work? Do you open it up, add the veggies, close it and just let them sit without turning it back on? Sorry for all the questions. First time using any kind of pressure cooker. Lol
Good morning Sara :)

Good morning all.

...ugh, not human yet.
I detest time changes, but I love that we'll have more daylight...

Lovely breakfast spread Dale, and lovely reminders.

Have fun Joey. :)

BB, sounds like you really enjoy cooking and trying new things. That's great!!

Sara, they sure are warning about the potential snow storm for your area. :(. Hope they're wrong and the storm doesn't bring all that.

...off to read a bit and try to wake up. :)

Happy to help with any questions I can answer. Yes, I think it didn't cook long enough. Generally I have a 2.5 to 3lb roast (doesn't matter the kind unless you get into venison, elk roasts, etc.) but 90min on high pressure, then yes, I hit the off button, do a quick release of the pressure, pop in the veggies & reset it for high pressure but only 6min. Then let it naturally release which continues the cooking time of the meat. I have had a 3lb roast take up to near an hour on the natural release just because of the size of the meat.

Thank you for the info. :) I guess I should have started dinner well before 4pm. ;) I have lots to learn. Can't wait to use it again.

    Good morning all.

    Good morning Lori

It snowed up north Arkansas yesterday and last night and dad and Mary are in Branson

    I'm here ;)

Working on laundry, grocery list, got chicken in the crockpot for shredded chicken for the week. Going to start my tomato sauce when we get back from the store. Working hard to eliminate processed foods. ;)

I take it, they got snow? :sneaky::lol:

Thank you. :) I've bookmarked it and will definitely check it out. One quick glance and I saw plantain crusted haddock. Looked good.
    Oh good.
I love to peruse cooking blogs. :)

    Good morning lovely lurkers.

Stupid internet is hit and miss here today...sometimes a page will load and sometimes, well you just take your chances...he's already called the internet company, but of course they were no help...wanted to send out a technician at a cost of $100 to check it out...don't think so! :glare:

It's rainy and ugly here today and the temps have dropped again...ugh, make up your dang mind Mother Nature!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning...oops, afternoon now, Dale.

Yeah I know...but this is cable, so the rain never affects it...but it's been acting like this since the time change...guess even the internet here didn't like the time change. :p

Eating healthier...I have been eating a lot of pop tarts lately
Too dang tired to do much else :(
I love pop tarts too. I haven't had any in a long time though.
I've been doing Cheerios in the mornings (work day mornings). Either the Honey Oat, or the Apple Cinnamon, then I try to eat a banana or apple.
I figure it's a form of oatmeal.

    :nah:
If you've had a lot of rain, something could be wet. We used to have that problem all the time.
When they put in the cable, they looped it at the pole connection. Here, they say that any loop a squirrel can sit on, they'll chew the plastic, then you can get water seepage, and erratic connections/service.
This is what the tech told us. We had a loop, he shortened and reconnected it, the way it should have been done in the first place.
Knock wood, we haven't had the problem for since.
