So I guess I shouldn't tell you I'm having a reuben from Arby's and curly fries then...oh and a mint chocolate shake? :p

Guess I shouldn't complain about my weather...yours is definitely much colder...hope you don't get too much snow...it's just us Southerners are really wimps when it comes to cooler temps.

Oh my gah!!! Those shakes are amazing. Speaking of which you just reminded me....I'm missing Mickey D's shamrock shake season :( I lurve Arby's beef n cheddars. I craved those a lot when I was pregnant. My mom used to tease me that I would give birth to a beef n cheddar. Pretty close, he was 9lbs 4oz. Bwahahaha.

I didn't mean to dramatize that...two broken arms in the BIG scheme of things is nothing, compared to what some are dealing with.

I don't think you dramatized that either. 2 broken arms is just awful. :(

It was really good and we have leftovers! :w00t: Basically it's just a pot roast made soup style :)

Yum!!! We have leftover roast in the freezer. Was thinking of making a stew/soup meal out of it. We had a large salad and a piece of garlic toast. The boys added some shredded chicken to it.

    Oh good!! Love leftovers!!

Oh, and I found out a little more about her posting on FB. My niece AND my SIL thought my brother had called us.
My niece said someone had been at church and posted on her FB page that she'd heard what happened to her mom, and that she was sending up prayer, and hoped she would be okay....my niece said her FB page EXPLODED after the gal posted with people wanting to know what had happened to her mom...so she said she deleted the gals post and posted what she did, which is what my other niece saw...and the gossipy drama ensued. ;)
Always bestest just to go to the horses mouth. :)
Both were very upset that my brother hadn't called us...
...we never figured HE would. (par for the course with him).
    Typical rumor mill

Feels like it's never going to get here :(
We kind of had it, and it got snatched away. :( Debating if I should go cover my hostas. I think they'll come up again...just a few shoots coming up.

Yes, we really have been lucky this winter. But will we pay for it in the future is the question? :(

I hope all your plants are ok.

    Good evening lovely lurkers.

Well made it through the day without killing anyone, so guess that's a plus. ;)

Stayed much cooler than it was supposed to...was supposed to be upper 60's, never made it out of the 50's and was cloudy and misty all day...enough to keep a chill on you all day long.

So I guess I shouldn't tell you I'm having a reuben from Arby's and curly fries then...oh and a mint chocolate shake? :p

Thought I grabbed these. My brain is fried.
Yes, I agree, I've been chilled all day!!
I love Arbys Reuben s'wiches!! Well, I've not really ever met a Reuben s'wich I didn't like.

It's funny you say that because when I was pregnant with my oldest, all I wanted was those beef n cheddars. What's so funny is that when he grew up, he ended up being the general manager at Arby's. I told him he was destined for it! :p:lol:

 That's so funny. There was only one Arby's that could satisfy my cravings and it's about 45 min from my house. Back when I was pregnant, I worked in our office located by it. The Arby's close to our house was disgusting. Needless to say, my lunch every Monday was Arby's.

Yes, he was a big baby. Must have been all those beef and cheddars because I'm only 5'3, not a large woman by any means, though I could stand to lose a few more pounds. ;)

Oy vey, 3 local schools near us are already closed for tomorrow. Not us yet. :(

Sweet dreams lurkers  anxious to see what tomorrow brings.

    Awww, so sweet Dale ;)

I'm thinking you may be right, but worry they will risk it because they were closed twice last week. Not sure which of the next two days will be the worst. We are supposed to have wind also. So blizzard like conditions. Wish I had snow days. Bwahaha.

If it gets too bad you just have to take a snow day ... not worth dying for!
