So I ordered a 15" cast iron frying pan holy crap this thing is huge :shock::lol::lol::lol::lol: I seasoned it up we are going to use it tomorrow. I think I can fit 8 burgers in it huge :lol::lol::lol: I also ordered a 7qt dutch oven, the lid can also be used as a frying pan :D I never cooked with cast iron before so this is gonna be fun :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

It's overheated :laugh:It was 95 in the shade here for about an hour :evil:

I'm anxious to hear how the Balsamic Mayo is, I bet that will MAKE that sandwich!! I love twangy, seasoned mayos!!! :drool:

Welp, got bills paid, checkbook brought forward, bank statement balanced, two vehicle tags renewed online, email all cleaned out and sorted :facepalm: it had been awhile. :lol:
Need to clean 2 coils before bed, go soak...but ATM, I'm waiting for DH to come up and grill our dinner.
We're splitting a steak. :) :drool: We both had late lunches, so I knew dinner would be a later one. ;)

    I never cooked with cast iron before so this is gonna be fun :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    If you have an electric stove start on the lowest setting,once it gets too hot it takes a long time to cool back down.Another big one is don't cook acid foods in it unless it's coated like the one Lori bought if it's not coated your food will taste like iron and the acid will remove your seasoning stuff like stew will be fine just hard to clean out :2c:

    ...guess I could squeeze in a load of laundry. I've been pretty lazy today, and chatty here. :laugh:

I need to do some more reading on this my gf has not cook with CI either so we are into learning about it. Never thought about acidic foods but I dont think we cooked much of that anyway except my sunday gravy that I need a big pot for :D

    It's best too warm it up before you put stuff with fat in it like burgers or bacon,and never ever use soap in it unless you like soap flavor.key word here is warm not hot :2c:
