Well, worked 8-1. It's going to be worse than I even imagined.
Lots of stuff didn't convert properly, and will have to be corrected, and...once the owner sees how it converted sold equipment history when you look at equipment on a customer's account...well...it's just not going to fly.
I don't know, it's just not good at all. More steps to do transactions.
Honestly, it's like going backwards instead of forwards.
Every day that passes (since last Wednesday) are days that the daily invoices of things sold through parts, at the counter and shipped to customers, well, all those are going to have to be re-entered into the new system.
They're still running out of the old one until they get training this coming week.
I've started re-entering parts invoices, and already finding a lot of things that aren't set up right.
Customer credit limits that have to be changed, because you just can't click "ok" anymore to override if a customer is over their credit limit....stuff like that.
Tax codes that should have carried over...didn't....it's a mess.
I don't even work in parts....so, no telling what they'll find.
$$ were correct for the conversion, so I guess that's a plus.
OBG, you should save that bacon grease, as much as you cook!!
