In your nightmares
Whaaaat? Oh man.
Thanks, I just don’t understand what’s going on with that knee other than he truly injured it the very first time. Hopefully the doctor will help us out.

Look at you, what a good girl you are :) I need to get back to walking. Felt better and it was easier to refrain from eating the ice cream in the freezer

Sounds like your rain is headed our way tomorrow. Uggg, that’s what my gut is telling me. Too many mishaps in such a short time.

Well, not as early as I’d like but I’m headed to bed. Sweet dreams everyone
When did he first hurt his knee??

Good morning lurkers

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Good morning lovely and handsome Lurkers

Good morning Sara  May all your customers be polite and friendly today ;)

Good morning Lurkers :)

Good morning lovely lurkers.

Busy day ahead...just hope the idiots are at a minimum.

Have a good day all!
Good morning everyone :)

Hiya Dale  I hope so! Then again isn’t it a full moon? Or is the strawberry moon not a full one. I’ll have to google. May your day off be one of rest and relaxation with some fun included.

Good morning OBG  Hope all is well with you.

    Good morning Angel
Hope your day goes by fast! Good luck with the idiots, hopefully they aren’t too bad.
Full moon eh? :?: Maybe that explains my night

So far so good :thumbs:my new regulator for my mig welder got here yesterday (old one blew it's diaphragm)a part they don't sell because of liability :rolleyes:takes about 1 min to change one and they charge twice the price of a new one so I ordered a new one on sale 1/2 price with free shipping, now I can weld up the daughters mower and get it out of my shop before my bike parts get here :D

We had a good amount overnight with more coming and storms

I’m going to say about a year ago while playing floor hockey. He went down on the gym floor and a kid landed on him/leg. We called the doctor who advised to ice, keep elevated and Motrin. If it got worse to bring him in. He was fine by Monday. Now every so often he twists it during sports and is limping with minor swelling.

ETA wonder if we should have taken him in anyway.

Full moon eh? :?: Maybe that explains my night

Never did google it lololol. Restless night ehh? If Joey doesn’t want your sun, I’ll take it. ;)
Guess I better get my .... in the shower it's shopping day :D
Wrong quote. Lol have fun shopping. Make sure to score some deals. My bed is facing south, so that’s my problem?

Dr finally called back and advised them to head to urgent care for X-ray. If that shows up with no problems, he will refer to Children’s Orthopedics. :nun:

    Hiya Sara

Twisting of the knee sounds like mcl damage maybe a small tear, now if his knee buckles on him that would be acl damage. Meniscus cartilage is in the knee joint, acl is the ligament that connects the femur and tibula behind the knee cap. I had an acl replacement and mcl repair at the same time. Took over 6 months for healing. My step daughter had acl surgery and was walking around without a crutch in 2 weeks. They have come a very long way with knee surgery :)

Also these types of injuries probably will not show up on an xray, an mri is probably a better way to go!!

It would probably be a good idea to keep him sidelined from sports for awhile if he keeps injuring his knee. I wish the best for him :)

    Noooo :p

Dale on another note if the headboard of your bed isn't facing due north it could be why your not sleeping well :2c:
Why is that I wonder? :?: Doesn’t apply to me as mine is on a north wall.

    Good morning Lurkerpeeps !!! :)
    Good morning Jer :)

Thank you for all the info and well wishes :) how old was your step daughter when she had surgery? He’s definitely sidelined until further notice. He is not happy at all. But it is what it is.

    Noooo :p

We’re in trouble, the tv is on the north wall. No place for a bed  maybe if I just lay in the opposite direction. Thank you for the well wishes :)

Hi Dale, Sara and Joey. Humidity and rain tonight and tomorrow. Going to put in my AC tonight. I can't sleep in that stuff !!!
Hiya Jerry. Me either. Gotta be cold when I go to bed....unless it’s winter and then I need my heated blanket on pre bedtime

Whelp. Guess I’ll have to wait til kiddo moves out and move into his room.
Thanks for the info, OBG :)

I knew today would be a bust, but you have to start somewhere. X-ray came back clear. (I was fairly confident it would) He is scheduled for an MRI on Monday. No sports/strenuous activities until we find out what’s going on. Hoo boy!! Not going to be an easy feat since it’s summer. I have one very unhappy little boy on my hands. Not much you can do though.

All good here except the bed is close to a bathroom wall .... however I’m certainly not worried about my fertility :lol:

Bwahahaha we’ve broken many of those rules. I lol’d about the headboard facing the mirror. Don’t want to scare yourself in the middle of the night.

I’m thinking you are right but remain hopeful that we just need to get him a brace and some pt.
