I really did, now if I get a good nights sleep it’ll be perfect :D

Hi Lori  It was a great day, even had a wild thunderstorm. Cooled off tremendously:thumbs:

Supper was great, fried squash and onions, broccoli , corn on the cob, baked sweet potato, salad and garlic bread. So what if I had to finish off the potato in the microwave
Lovely dinner!!

Sounds like a great dinner Dale! Here's to you getting that good night's sleep to top off a great day! ;)

Lori, I work right next door to a John Deere dealer...sometimes they come and cut our grass because they need to test out the equipment...we tell them to go for it whenever they want!
That's awesome!! We have huge areas around the store, so rarely a shortage of something to test mow.

Good morning, Lurkers:wub:

I'm off and running. Have to go to the shop and cut a few pieces of wood for a modification I'm making for my sister's oven cabinet to accommodate their new oven coming today. When you have an oven from the 80's that's built in, naturally the new ovens won't be the same size. So, I'll be seeing you all later. Hope everyone enjoys their Saturday!
We got super lucky at the lake. Built in wall oven from the mid 80's, smaller than normal size.
DH never thought we'd find one, ever, at all...Sears had it (in stock) about 45 minutes from us, now that's been over 10 years ago.

Good evening lurkers

Dale, your birthday dinner sounded fabulous. I hope your throat is feeling better :nun:

Doh! I wasn’t even thinking....of course you know the spelling of those brands, Lori lololol.

Hope you’re having a nice “quiet” weekend, Angel :thumb:

I need a do-over weekend and it’s not even over yet. We (DH and I) went to Syracuse last night for a Luke Bryan concert. Didn’t get home til almost 2 and then kiddo had his soccer tournament today 9-4. His team was 2nd to last this season and went all the way to the semi-finals. They lost in a shootout to take second place.
Oh fun!!
Yep. I had to learn to spell all of that.

Oh ugh! Birthday cold. Sure hate that gal, sounds like a doosey of a cold.
Planes, trains, buses, cruises, hotel rooms, etc. All ripe for germs.
I often catch a cold or come down with something after traveling. Our boss does almost every time.
Wonder if you did on your trip?

Good evening all.
Not much going on here other than laundry and some cross stitching today.

Sara, congrats to kiddo and healing vibes for him too...hope you don't end up catching it.

Good morning Dale and KC

Yum!! I’m starved, wish I had a real stack of hot cakes with endless syrup. Truer words could not be spoken! Dale.

Angel, I thought about that as I pecked him goodbye for church. I’m usually more careful when he’s sick  will double up on vitamins

We are plying him with Emergen-c for kids and hot orange tea with honey. Need him to be feeling better as he has a tryout Tuesday for a real travel soccer team. He wants this so bad.

I hope you all have a great Sunday! Off to do some cleaning, my turn to host dinner!

    Good morning lovely lurkers.

Thanks for the lovely breakfast Dale...now I'm craving some biscuits and gravy...haven't had any in so long.

Sara, hope kiddo gets better in time for the tryout...good luck to him.

It's another rainy day here...perfect for staying home and doing nothing! ;)

    Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday.
