Good afternoon lurkers

I’ve never made homemade veggie stock before but I figured now is the perfect time. ;) I have a ziplock in the freezer that I put all the scraps in (peels, leaves and all) how bad can it be when you add seasoning to it  sorta free and you’re getting all the nutrients from the parts you don’t normally eat.

That’s awesome about the flowers. I bet they will be pretty. :)

Busy doing more of the same. We gave Lucy a bath today since we can’t take her to the groomer. Few new cases and one is in the same area as us which makes me nervous.

Pork tenderloin in the crockpot, gonna add some mashed tators and corn to it for dinner. Smells awesome.

Hope everyone is ok and enjoying their day. Sun is shining brightly but the temps went from 60 to 34 ugg

    Hi Sara

Bet Coronavirus nearby does make you you nervous  I know it would me. Not sure where ours are located, the news was good not to publish names or anything. Just that they’re in Hot Springs and the lady in the Village. I’m sure they’ve infected others though :(

Just now seeing some sunshine today, I took the opportunity to walk to the mail box. Was a little nervous handling the mail though
Clouds coming back this evening

All the news provides is gender, age and city/town and if they are in the hospital or isolated at home. Sometimes they will tell you places that person has been and timeframes. Once it’s where you live it’s definitely more  although I keep reminding myself we don’t have the testing capabilities that NYC and Albany/surrounding counties have. I’m sure there are way more with it closer to home than what’s on the news.

I have a package of food service gloves (the thin clear ones) and will put one on when going to the mailbox. My nitrile gloves are at work......oooooh. I just remembered I have another box here that I had ordered prior to work being shut down. Woot!!:lol::lol:

Daughter has a cold which she has passed onto me  We will keep an eye on her if it gets any worse we will take her to convenient care.

I got a letter at work saying I am a critical food chain employee in case I get pulled over crossing the state line in the stay home order. So no time off for me :glare:

Well now you can feel a little better about getting the mail. Dh had picked these up at a dollar store. 100/package so I’m using just 1 at a time to keep them in stock for awhile.

:nun: Hope you two feel better soon. I’m sorry that not only are you critical but have to worry about going across state lines. I’m hoping it would be a close commute.

    Good evening Joey
Ohhh I don’t like the sound of any of that :( Although I guess food is essential, thank you

Hope it’s just a cold and passes quickly

Oh and Dale, the only reason I thought to use the gloves he bought was because I had started wearing them at work a couple weeks ago. Otherwise it wouldn’t have dawned on me.
Probably not a bad idea Sara :?:

Elly is having her after dinner peanut butter bone and I’m having my peppermint tea.

If the first code line printed has RX in it it was canned in our plant. We do corn, peas, sliced and whole potatoes and asparagus :)

I really don’t understand why the tp is being hoarded, this virus isn’t a stomach virus o_O Some people are just stupid

Just woke up from a nap I need some coffee :img:
I guess because of the length of time this virus is going to affect us :(

Have you stocked up on coffee? ;)

Yep I always have 3-4 folgers in my pantry :) I did a revamp of our shelves and found enough items to make around 30 qts of chili lmao
