You can use tomato powder in soups, stews, meatloaf, use it as a thickener in your sauce, make your own tomato paste, tomato soup, sauce (you’d need a lot for that though lol) just a way to not waste your tomato skins but definitely time consuming. So we’ll see this year if it’s worth it.

I’ve never bought tomato powder before but I’ve read it’s expensive. So I thought why not, if it can eliminate the need for so many cans of paste I’m down with that.

Yeah, not quite Saturday yet
If this turns out to be a good thing I will change up how we do tomatoes next year. Try to get the skins off in bigger pieces and maybe multitask by getting them right on the trays.
