Rain, rain, and more rain here. I've had my coffee so it is possible I've hit my peak today.

Hahaha yes for sure, Dale. He has a low key day ahead except for his laundry.

Sorry for all the rain Rat2. Rain is on the way here today too. Scattered something or others. Showers…TStorms not sure what exactly will happen. Hot one though.
We're supposed to get that scattered whatever tomorrow. It will be much cooler tomorrow.

I never know what this crazy weather is doing anymore. The sun came out this afternoon and I went for a walk but it was humid as all get out (which I dislike very much).

It is Saturday night and I am doing laundry. There is something wrong with that picture.

OMgosh, I had no idea I was going to be productive tonight. It just snuck up on me.

Not only did I get all the laundry done (minus the sheets) but I got all the clothes stacked in my room bagged and ready to put in the car tomorrow. The church used to be closed on Mondays but I will drop them off Tuesday.

There were so many things that I really wanted to save but I fought through it because there is someone who needs them now. That is what I kept telling myself. I have six lawn and garden black bags stuffed full. I had a stack of blue jeans that I said I could cut off since I really need shorts. But they were just too good to keep. I'll look for some shorts at the church. Maybe I can find some there.

I feel good. Tired but good.

Oh, I have some more wonderful news. My cousin went to the shelter and came home with a beautiful (and lucky) 12 year old cat that had to have his leg amputated for some reason. The cats name was Willow (which I think is a great name) but she is going to call her Maggie. That sounds more like a canine to me but hey, I'd probably have gone with something like Tripod.

She said the cat got out of the crate and went to the closet. My cousin said after about 30 minutes she got her out and put her on the couch. That's when she took a pic and sent it to me. She said there was hair all over the place which will calm down some when the cat is not so nervous. Her hair has not yet all grown back from her operation as you can tell in the pic but I think she is beautiful.

The last time I got a text from my cousin, Maggie was enjoying the couch and her new home. Don't you just love happy endings?
