Good morning Lurkers.
I'm amazed I went to work yesterday, torrential rain greeted me when I awoke, and it persisted til at least noon.
I made a rash decision to hunt a Geocache during my first break... not a good idea. 10 minute time window, still raining, no visible trail to follow
through the fairly dense underbrush up hill . I laughed at myself when I returned to the truck....soaked trousers, moss and greenery all over me and no find

Still it was fun, and I dried out over time.
Not having learned my lesson, I hunted another during my "lunch" break around 5pm. Trails this time, but soggy muddy ones that did not lead to the location fast enough for my liking, so I set off "line-of-sight" ..mmmm big ravine ! ahh, there's a fallen tree across it. Yep. I went across that tree, soggy wet bark, danger of broken stuff if I fell, at least a possibility of another soaking. Made it!
And got to the GZ, giving it a good scouring with no result... at least I was out in nature, doing what I enjoy. Checked the time, hit the trail and back to the truck.
After leaving work I rolled up on a simple, easy and fast (barely get out of the car) GC to keep my streak of 18 consecutive days with a find intact. My longest streak is 38 days, so I have a goal.
It's blustery, 48° and sporadically rainy today...seems like good weather for a quick stomp with the dog.
Have a lovely day wherever you may be and whatever you do
