I don’t mind washing and folding, its the putting away that I don’t like.
That is me. I love seeing all the clean clothes stacks so neatly on the dryer. It proves I've been productive.

I also like washing dishes but I don't like putting them away either. I notice a pattern here. Does this mean I do everything half-you-know-what?

I trimmed some bushes today and cleaned my pores at the same time. It was hot. Decided to go to the gym late again and had a nice workout. Got a Slushie and came home. I didn't know what I wanted for supper so I ended up fixing a baked potato and opened a can of green beans. I love the Glory brand green beans. I also like their collards and fried apples.

Going to be watching the little dog from Sunday through Thursday. I offered to stay down there so Bailey could just stay at home but Cindy said she would be fine at my house. Doesn't matter to me. It will be so nice to have a dog in my bed again. Four-legged, not 2.

I hope it doesn't make me go to the pound and adopt one. I don't need anything to take care of right now, other than myself.

Joey, I hope you got the days you wanted off. I used to take mine around a holiday just so I would have an extra couple of days.

Sleep well, everyone.

Good morning lurkers

Kiddo will be driving next year  He turns 15 in October. He never expressed an interest in either having someone stay over or staying at a friend’s house. In my opinion, covid came at the worst time for him….start of middle school and play dates stopped and just really never started again. It didn’t help that we didn’t get vaccinated and I was extremely cautious longer than now what I feel was necessary.

Lol, Rat2. I hate putting the dishes away too!! Awww. I hope you have a great time with your furry house guest.

Have a fantastic day!

Good morning Sara and Fran

Oh yeah Sara I forgot about covid, that was terrible timing for kiddo :( Gosh I had no idea he was already 15!
‘I three hate putting away dishes … or rather drying them.

Glad things are starting to dry out for you Fran :)

Here it is not far from lunchtime and I am still in my PJ's. Maybe it is the heat that is zapping my get-up-and-go.

This is an off-the-wall questions (I've been known to do that

) but has anyone ever used a home laser system for hair removal? I bought one and have watched a few YouTube's and I hope like crazy that it works. Although I am not sure what I would do with all the extra time I would have if I did not have to pluck wild whiskers.

Sara, my son chose not to spend the night with other kids and also had very few sleepovers. The couple of times he did, he made a bed for them on the floor. Now he loved for friends to come over to play or eat with us but then he wanted them to go home. He also loved to go to his friends house but always wanted to come home when it was bedtime. Nuttin' wrong with that, IMO. Covid hurt a lot of kids and the joy of being a kid.

I’ve never used one but have wondered if they worked well, you’ll have to let us know.

I did not get a Slushie today but I have eaten a bunch of Pop-Ice. I start buying them when it gets hot and it has turned hot around here.

I edged both sides of the fence after supper. It looks a lot better. I trimmed the low branches on the Crepe Myrtle's. I hate it when I have to duck when I am push mowing. At least I ended up being productive today.

I cannot believe Friday is almost here. Another quick week. Not sure what I will do this weekend. I might go back and listen to the live music like I did last weekend. I really do love seeing people play and sing. And it gives me a reason to fix up too. There are a lot of places around here that play music on the weekend.

Does anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend?

Good afternoon lurkers  I’m ready for a nap lol. Car rides make me sleepy. It was fun getting to see where Dh family grew up and hear his childhood stories. We stopped for lunch before trekking home. Cloudy but no rain, so that made for a decent trip.

Hopefully everyone had a nice day!

    Good evening Sara
Yeah those trips through the past can be fun and interesting :)

I just finished eating. Had a salad and a small piece of leftover t-bone from last night.

Another hot day here. Had a good workout and just came home. Did laundry, which I have not done in weeks. Two loads and now they are hanging and neatly folded in the laundry room because I do hate putting clothes away.

I took a much-needed shower and decided to go listen to a man sing and play the guitar at the bar I have been to a couple of times. There were a few there that I had talked to before. Not much of a crowd. They even had free food tonight. Ham, baked beans, potato salad, and rolls. It looked good but I had already eaten and they did not have any chocolate on the table.

I really enjoyed the young man singing but left early and came on home.

Got in touch with an old friend in New Hampshire that I have not talked to in a long time. We are going to try to have a video chat tomorrow night. I wish he had of asked me for tonight because I am having a good hair night.

I am still looking forward to having my little four-legged house guest. It is going to be so weird and probably a little sad. I still miss my two.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
