Well, I cannot complain about my little house guest last night. I had to wake her up this morning.
Bless her heart. I put my hand on her belly a couple of times to make sure she was okay.
I also had a wonderful day and night. I did not get my steps in yesterday but did some hard work out in the sun. My aunt has been trying to cut down a huge Pompass Grass plant in the divorced womans yard across the street from me. It would have taken her two more weeks so I went out there yesterday, tied the dog close to me in the shade, and
got-r-done. My aunt was so grateful. She fixed me a tomato sandwich with chips and it was delicious. She has such a good time when we do things. It is sad that her own daughters do not take the opportunity.
When I was cooling off my friend Sharon texted me and want to go to Bonbon's (my fav restaurant) and I was going to tell her I would have to take a raincheck and my aunt told me to go and she would watch the dog. I was skeptical at first but I really think she was wanting to do something for me because of all I did for her yesterday so I let her.
Sharon and Kenny had never been there and they absolutely loved the place and what they ate. I knew they would. I got my buffalo shrimp salad. Omgosh. I had ordered it medium and thought I would try the hot because I like a little kick. It was so good. They have several hotter choices but this is just fine for me. I am not going to eat something if it makes me break out in a sweat.
Kenny was telling me that he went on a horse trail and the group went to this wings place and they ordered the ".... Burner" wings. He said the staff came out and watched them eat it. He said he had never had anything that spicy. He ordered his Buffalo Chicken Wrap mild.
I just love listening to his stories.
Sharon brought me a bag of tomatoes and cucumbers. She is so darn sweet. I have been so lucky with people sharing their produce with me.
It was also nice that when I came back to my aunts after supper, that little dog got so excited. She was dancing and wagging her tail. I had not seen her do that. Gwen, my aunt, said when I left the little dog whined at the door for a little bit and she put her in her lap and she was fine. I had forgotten how good it felt to be missed by something that loves you. I was worried about this little dog staying in a house she had never been to but she has acted pretty darn happy. I am glad she had a good time but I still don't want a house guest every time they go camping.
This o'l girl likes her
freedom.
Do y'all read my post before you go to bed so it helps you sleep?
I can't help I have so much to say.
Happy Sara's Fri-YAY eve.
