    Good evening lurkers

Thanks, Dale. I made my iced coffee extra strong this morning and got through it with just a few yawns ;)

I got a new toy too!!!

My newest obsession is iced cold brew protein coffee with cold foam. I ordered this milk frother on Amazon Prime day. It works awesome to scramble eggs, turn milk to foam and supposedly will mix up a protein shake/hot chocolate from powder with no lumps. Haven’t tried that yet. Soon.

    Fri-Yay eve, indeed!!

I’m jelly of all the good times you’re havin’ Rat2!! Good friends, good food, what could be better than that! Love your shoes! Where did you get them?

Boys are off to the last soccer practice of the season. Two games left but we will have to miss the last one. I think I will go find something on Netflix to watch! Hope you all had a great day!
    Good evening Sara
New toys are fun ;) Hope you find a good movie or something to watch :) Have a great evening.

I ordered them from Temu. That place is my latest obsession. I have another order that has shipped. It is only my 3rd order but I can spend a lot of time looking at that site. I find stuff that I didn't even know I needed.

Yes, I am back to a canine-free household and that is okay. I hate to admit but I sort of miss the little doggie but definitely do not want one right now.

After they picked up the dog, I took my aunt to Sam's because she has mentioned twice that she needed some honey buns. Then we went and got an ice cream cone from Chick-fil-a. I love their soft serve cone. It tastes like vanilla. McDonald's just tastes like something cold. I'm a little picky on my ice cream.

I did something I've never done today. Lost my Discover card at Sam's. Omgosh. How careless of me. I just called and canceled it after I asked at the desk. Discover expedited a card to me and I should get it tomorrow or the next day. No biggie, but I need to be more careful. Still not too awful bad since I've had a credit card for 45 years and never had this happen.

Sure was nice to get back to the gym this evening. With all the eating out I have been doing, I better get back at it. Tomorrow night I am going Cookout with my cousin and her friend. I will take my aunt with me too. Saturday night my cousin wants me to go with her and another friend to Applebee's but she does not want me to say anything to her mom. Doesn't matter to me. I have really enjoyed not having to cook and everyone does seem to be asking me to go out to eat. It's a shame it's all family and friends and not an interested male. It might be that I have been lucky.

    :lol::lol::lol:

I dunno, I think it would get me in trouble. ;)

Steak, buttered parmesan linguine and yellow/green beans for dinner. The boys split the steak and I had a second helping of pasta.

It was a long week, super happy it’s over. Hope you all had a great day!
    Hey Sara
I know you’re happy to see Friday evening arrive.

We had breakfast, biscuits, eggs and sausage.

Thanks Dale, I hope you had a good one. It was quiet here. Dh had a charity golfing thing to attend with Buffalo Bills alumni. He won a couple of autographed jersey’s. It stormed the first half and then poured like crazy the second half. Made for a good tv day ;)
    Hi Sara
That sounds like a perfect day to me! Wish some of these storms going around would stop by here, our grass is all crunchy :( 100 degrees every day.

    Good morning Dale

Sure do wish we could send it that way! Feels like we’ve had quite a but of rain this month. It hasn’t been a very good summer in the northeast. Our grass looked like the end of summer at the beginning of June (brown and crunchy) and now it looks like spring (new growth and pretty green).

Thank you for the pancakes  and a little Maya :)

Hope everyone has a great day!
