He’s doing well, resting. Thank you, Dale :)

Seems that’s mostly what we’ve had this summer is cooler weather. Looks like fall weather out there, right now.
    I’m glad he’s doing well :)

‘’Oh I’m envious! ;) It is quite a bit cooler here today due to the rain and clouds So I can’t really complain :)

Went to Denny's with my aunt and cousin tonight. It was good. They got breakfast. I thought I might need some red meat so I had a hamburger. I am not sure why but my cousin bought my supper. I do appreciate it but I would rather her not. Now I feel like I need to do something for her.

I have taken naps two days in a row and am feeling tired again. Don't think it is from my busy weekend. I think my iron is low again. No biggie. It does this and I am supposed to take a supplement but I don't like taking them. The burger was really good but again. . . I should have split it with someone or brought half home. I say that just about every time I go out to eat. It looks like I would do it instead of coming home feeling bad. I have no willpower.

(unless I stay at home and I do good). Go figure.

Usually, my weeks go by so fast but now that I want to see Ken this weekend, the week is moving in slo-mo. I haven't felt that way since I was working. grrrr Feeling a bit of sympathy for you Sara.

The only thing I accomplished today was going to the gym. I also walked with my aunt after supper. I probably needed 16,000 steps today to help with that big burger. heehee

Hope everyone sleeps well and has a wonderful day.

Good morning all. I enjoyed my coffee this morning listening to some Tyler Childers and Zach Bryan. I love easing into the day.

Going to get stuff done this morning and I cannot wait until the weekend so I am going to show up at Ken's house again tonight. Last time I will show up uninvited because I have decided it is time to give him my number. Not sure about inviting him to the house yet but probably will after my trip to Tennessee. I know it is silly but I am trying to be cautious.

Hope everyone has a great day. Morning hugs to you all.

Good morning Sara and Rat2

Maybe your cousin was trying to thank you for all the mowing you’ve done for your aunt Rat2.
Ken will jump for joy when he gets your number

    Good morning lurkers

    Thanks, everyone:)

Short weeks are always the longest ones. Guaranteed for the next 3 to go super slow, Rat2 ;)

    Have a great day!!
Hope you have a good day too, I’m joining you today in the work force . Randy from Griffith’s called last night asking for help for this week. Hope I’m up to it, it’s been a while.

    Good evening lurkers

I don’t think he’ll work you to death, he seems much nicer than, Jack? Maybe take some ibuprofen before hand. I do that when I know it’s going to be a rough one and it helps.

Have fun, Rat2! I agree with Dale, he will be thrilled to get that number.
    Good evening Sara
You’re right about Randy, he’s much nicer to me than Jack ever was. I took Tylenol this morning for other reasons and was sure glad I did, my back was not happy with me … nor was Paco
‘Unfortunately DH mangled the message and Randy is wanting me to work part time on going and not just this week. Not sure how I feel about that yet.

Have a good night, I’m hoping I fall asleep sooner tonight!

Yes, I did show up in his driveway last night and he was putting brake pads on his truck. He ran into some trouble so it was perfect that I showed up because we went and got the parts he needed.

He was going to take his motorcycle to work today but they are calling for an 80% chance of rain and you know I had to help. I offered him my truck which at first he turned down. He could not believe I would offer something like that. I guess he thought about it and accepted my offer the second time. That is the first time I have ever loaned a vehicle to someone. But you know me. I trust everyone until they prove me wrong.

He took me to the Moose Lodge to eat again. I was starving so we got their Wednesday special. Salsbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, and mixed veggies. The cornbread was exactly like I like it. . . sweet. I ate every bite.

I had my application filled out for the Moose Lodge to join. I gave it to him and said if he looked real close, he would have my telephone number and address. He grinned and said, "Finally, it only took a month."

Because he was going to borrow my truck, we came back to the house and he stayed with me. He wanted to get up at 4 for some reason so I got up at 3:30 and fixed him a veggie and cheese omelet, hashbrowns, red eye gravy grits, and toast. It felt so weird cooking breakfast for someone but he seemed most appreciative and it was fun, although I do not want it to be a habit.

He couldn't believe I did it when I wasn't eating. I told him I did not eat breakfast, but we had coffee together and that was very nice.

He jokingly called me his girlfriend for some reason and I guess I had a weird look. He told me he was a one-woman man. I told him that was okay but if I decided to go out with someone else, I would tell him and he was free to do the same thing. He said he had no reason to. Ruh roh! I told him the first night we met that I was not looking for any type of commitment. Evidently, people do not listen to me. I am not sure how clearer I could make it. Sheesh. If he says something about me moving to TN I am going to freak out because I do NOT want another Dan. heehee

I took a picture without asking him if I could. I'm sneaky. heehee I think he is attractive but that is probably because of love beards and mustaches. This is not a good picture of him since he had been working all day but I thought I'd share it anyway. I will ask to take a better one.

Guess I will see when he calls me again. He has to come back over to return the truck. Hopefully, he will want to see me this weekend.

That was my exciting night. Thanks for reading and it's okay if you just skip my posts. I know I write too much.

Randy is wanting me to work part time on going and not just this week.
Ohhh, I bet that was unexpected. Do you really want to work that much? I could probably work part-time if I had to but I am going to try really hard not too.

    Good morning lurkers

Oh wow! How many hours is part time? Hopefully it’s not too bad and that you slept well.

    Have a great day!!
    Good morning Sara
Well we’re starting with 2 to 3 days working 10 -2 but that never lasts.

Hope you have a good day also.

It definitely was unexpected , I kind of froze for a minute :unsure:

‘’I have no desire to work outside the home anymore but I also have a hard time saying no if someone needs me.

I do realize my health is a little better when I work and move around more.

So you went whole hog with Ken eh, I see you having trouble with that one down the road. Guess you’ll just have to enjoy the now and break his heart when it’s time for him to go back home ;) It’s definitely not your fault, you’ve been very upfront with these guys. Wonder why they are all so desperate to lock you down? Certainly not how I remember guys being.

I am the same way. It makes me feel good to help someone. I have no desire to work either unless I absolutely have to.

This is all new to me. I don't know how guys are supposed to be. My ex and me dated for 7 1/2 years before we got married. I have been totally honest. Not sure how else I could say it. It is a really big project and he is saying it could possibly be longer. He works 60-70 hours a week. I need someone that is retired.

I enjoyed doing things with Dan until he got so moody and serious. I am enjoying Ken also and I hope he stays just the way he is right now. We will see what happens on my TN adventure. He may change his mind after traveling with me. heehee

I did finally talk myself into going to the gym and I am glad I did. I feel better. I also went back to WallyWorld. I found a pair of short bib overalls that were marked down. I figured if I'm going to TN, I needed some. heehee

I had a Slushie before I came home and now I am not hungry at all for supper and I don't really have a taste for anything in particular either. Might just wait til later to eat and fix a salad.

    Later. . .

Good evening Rat2 and Sara

Man today was rough! I’m going to have to have my back X-rayed and see what’s causing all the pain, today was unreal

You’re going to have to explain yourself to us too Sara :?:

I did make supper, pork chops in the crockpot with cream soup, noodles with broccoli and cauliflower and some vegetable kabobs we were given. It was okay, when I’m tired and hurting my interest in food is pretty low.

Well, when I was reading today’s posts I was like :):D:ohmy::laugh::w00t::shock: and then I saw you were like  and then I  but I didn’t want Rat2 to think I was laughing at her and then Dh pulled in the driveway and I didn’t want to leave without responding.

I am overtired and goofy tonight lol

I hope you do. Bless your heart. I am so sorry your back is giving you a fit. Maybe it is time to go have it looked at. I am a good one to talk because I HATE going to the doctor. Sending good thoughts to you and a big hug too!
