Hahaha when it rains it pours. Thinking I’d rather just deal with outside rain though.

Broke the vacuum….someones sock was in the couch. We tried and tried to get it out of the hose, took it apart and newp. Downside to having plastic hangers. It was 10 years old and not working the best anyway, so I used my credit card points and ordered a new one…..but I was saving those points for Christmas presents.

If that wasn’t bad enough, the washer is also not working well. Unbalanced loads 75% of the time not allowing it to complete the spin cycle and it doesn’t matter how much you have in it. According to google tension rods may need to be replaced. So now we have to have a repair man come out.

It was another beautiful day. Ken's chopper needs some work because the last time I rode it, it backfired and jerked so I told him I would not ride on it until it is fixed. It needs to be driven so he took it out today by himself and I went down to Sharon and Kenny's for a visit. I had such a good time. I think it is a good thing to have some away time from each other.

I need to do some grocery shopping tomorrow. It will be more away time because Ken does not like grocery shopping. Who does anymore? But it must be done. grrrr

Lol, Dale, I bet you did. Now that I have some of my sanity back, I can remind myself that there are worse things. Fortunately the vacuum was half off and the washer isn’t completely broken. Kiddo did a load of his clothes and it worked fine. Seems to just be towels/blankets.

Rat2, time for yourself is always a good thing. Hopefully Ken feels the same.

Yeah, I woke up at 4, tried to ignore the urge to go to the bathroom but it was too strong I knew by the time I fell back asleep the alarm would go off and then I'd be miserable. I see an early bedtime in my future.

Good evening Sara I got up around 4 also, yesterday too. Bet you are glad Monday is done.

We just finished supper . We had pork country style ribs with mushroom soup gravy, mashed potatoes and garlic and ginger vegetable medley.

Hope it wasn't too bad for you, Dale. Are you back to only working when he needs the help?

Watched my baby walk across the stage to collect his award. It was {School's Name} Scholar Award and it had nothing to do with sports He received an academic letter to put on a letterman's jacket with a lamp of learning stitched to it and a paper award. For maintaining an average above 93 all of last year. Not sure if he will want a jacket or not but he's got his first letter. Of course I teared up I'm such a sap.

We had homemade mac and cheese for dinner. His favorite, to celebrate.

It's cold and rainy, but no snow. Hope you all had a great day!

Oh, I know how proud you must be Sara and with good reason. Congrats to him and you because you had a part in that too. Good parenting.

It has been rainy all day here. That's a big yuck from me. I am so glad I went to WallyWorld yesterday to get my Thanksgiving stuff. Not sure if I will make the salad and eggs a day early or wait until Thursday. They are not eating until 6 so I will have time. I'll just see how I feel tomorrow.

I sure hope I sleep better tonight. I was up and down all night because for one, I got hot and then there was just no comfortable position that I could find.

It was cloudy, damp and cold today but it didn’t rain.

I had a bacon wrapped turkey sandwich with chips, DH is feeling puny and not interested in eating. Sinus issues.

You must be so proud of kiddo Sara! Congratulations to him and his parents

‘’Yeah Rat2 I think I messed up, I agreed to work Friday and I had originally planned to prep my thanksgiving meal that day With DD working night’s I let her pick the day, DS is off all week for vacation.

I’ll just be glad when I finally sleep past 4 a.m.

I started dozing a little while ago watching the movie Ken picked out. The Terminator is not my kinda movie. It is not bad though. I enjoyed the movie Stray last night better. I thought it was going to be a cute animal movie. It was not for children at all because of language but I laughed through the whole thing. The little dog went around humping everything. I prefer laughing any day over scary movies.

Thank you so much, ladies I am over the moon proud of him. His average this first marking period is 97.7. while I struggled to make the honor roll in high school. Lol!

Aww, Dale. I’m sorry. Any chance you could prep some of it tomorrow?

Rat2, never cared much for the Terminator franchise. But the other sounds funny. Lol.

Three hour work day today and then it’s going to be busy here. Planning to roast the acorn squash and make my famous chocolate chip cookies. I’m not a fan of pie, so I always like to have a dessert that’s different. MIL is making pies.

I love the Terminator movies, slap stick comedy is what I don’t like … like those horrible Police Academy movies DH loves.

I can do a lot on Thursday I suppose Sara while everyone else is having Thanksgiving I just remembered to get the turkey out of the deep freeze this morning

They’re making you work 3 hours this morning, what a shame!
