Good morning lurkers and happy Fri-Yay!!

I am definitely improving, but these last 10 days have totally been crappy. I think I had every symptom known to man. Don’t know if it was the flu, covid or what but I don’t want to repeat that ever for a very long time. Lol!

Welcome home, Rat2! Glad to hear you had a nice time!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning Dale

Thank you. I haven’t been this sick in years. It’s just hanging on. When I think I’ve turned a corner, the aches come back. Still congested. This morning I woke up with an ocular migraine. Grrr!

Yuck! We are supposed to get snow today into tomorrow. Hopefully not too much.

Have fun with Kalli.

    Good evening lurkers

Snow has arrived and Christmas is 99% packed up and put away. I need another tote for the last few things. I’m wiped out  but I feel good.

Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday!
    Good evening Sara
‘Tried to check back earlier but couldn’t reach the forum. So glad to hear you’re feeling better tonight :)
We haven’t had any more snow but it’s still gloomy and cold.

We just finished supper, had lots of leftovers so DH had pot roast and I had chili.

Gloomy and cold sounds about right lol Think we have a couple inches of snow so far.

We had leftover chicken that I made for my lunches this week that I ended up not eating and I whipped up some mashed taters and a box of stuffing. Pulled a roast out of the freezer yesterday, so that's what's for dinner tomorrow with sweet potatoes and green beans.

Feels like a Sunday but I'm so happy it's not

I love them but they do not end up being healthy after I add all the cinnamon, sugar and butter.

Last night Ken wanted to take me to hear this band at a local bar we visit. He waited til after supper to tell me so I had to hurry. I don't think I have ever taken that short of a shower. I got my hair dried and straightened, makeup and everything in an hour. That really is not bad for me.

Several regulars were there and we had a ball cutting up with them. The band was not bad either. Two older men and a young man on the electric guitar. He was very good and I enjoyed watching/hearing them.

Tonight we went to Bonbon's and got those amazing ribs. We had been talking about how much we would like to eat them since we were in TN. I think those ribs are the only thing I would really miss. when I leave.

Had a great meal and then stopped by another one of the bars we liked. Did not stay too long. Ken said he was tired and had a slight headache. That was fine with me. He has been watching gory movies and I have been catching up with everything I missed last week without my laptop and internet.
To tell the truth, I am tired and ready for bed. My cousin texted me and asked us to go to Bonbon's tomorrow night with my aunt. Guess I could eat there two nights in a row. They have lots of great food choices.

Sara, glad you are headed in the right direction. You have had a rough time, bless your heart. Knock on wood, we have been staying well but it is that time of year when the bugs are active.

Happy Saturday night. Sleep well.

Good morning Dale and lurkers

Thank you for breakfast and quote! Looks yummy. We are meeting my parents for breakfast, little diner with the best omelets.

Thank you, Rat2. It’s been a few years for a nasty viral infection so I spose I was due. Got some elderberry syrup yesterday. Hoping it helps to boost that immune system. Glad you had fun!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Woke up to a power outage this morning. Only a couple of hours but still. . . delayed coffee does not make me happy.

I am predicting a lazy day around here! At least that is what I am hoping for. My back finally seems to be improving from that disk flairup. I am going to give it a little more time before I start back to the gym, just to be sure.

Hope you have a wonderful omelet, Sara. That sounds so good to me. I might make one myself as soon as Ken gets up. He did not feel well last night and is still in bed.

Have a lovely day everyone.

    Good morning Rat2

Uhoh, I hope he's not coming down with any of the nastiness that's floating around these days.

My omelet had ham, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and american cheese. It comes with home fries and toast. So good.

Glad your back is feeling better. Hopefully you got your power back.

It was quesadillas at Bonbon's tonight and they were delicious. Ken got a Southwest and I got the Texax Chicken. We split the sweet potato fries.

I made the wrong decision and went to WallyWorld today. Whew! It was so crowded and it took forever. I do not know what possessed me to go on the weekend. Oh well, it is what it is.

I hope everyone has a nice start to their week.
