We are doing our family gathering on Saturday too. It will be at my oldest daughters home one town away. Not really far from here.

Aw that’s great! Next year my kids are hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas for us, I’m really looking forward to that. :)

Eye visit went well, we are trying Monovision with my contacts.
That is wonderful. I have heard good things about them but I was not a candidate. I had my left eye operated on when I was 5 and I use my stronger right eye for everything.

Good news though. I had my eye exam and he is sending me to a doctor to see about cataract surgery. I've been waiting on this because he says he can get me better vision. I've never had 20/20. I hope the doctor approves it. I cannot get an appt. until March. They sure must do a lot of them.

The weekend went by fast :(
That is how my whole week goes by. I cannot believe how fast time is going by now that I am older.

I was busy all weekend with cooking and getting ready for Perry's family reunion. I was a bit nervous but everyone was so nice to me. I was afraid no one would eat my deer cube steak. I fixed a bunch because I like it and wanted to freeze some. They ate every last piece and just loved it. A couple of women asked if they could take home some of my broccoli salad stuff so I guess it was a hit too.

The only time my family ever had a reunion was when someone passed away. So this was a new experience for me. I really liked it. I don't think I've ever been to a function that had that many people and that much food. It was wonderful.

Perry is coming over here tonight because I had my eyes dilated and the headlights were bothering me. They were late on my appt and I did not get out til dark. I understand why he is always running behind. He is just so friendly and talkative. Takes so much time with you and explains everything. Makes really good jokes too. I have gone to him for years and can't imagine going to anyone else. He and his wife have different eye practices.

Have a great evening all.
