oh my goodness!! I definitely do not find you all boring I just haven't been getting online very much because I've been reading in my free time. I'm sorry guys! I've missed you all.

Dh went to NYC last week for work. He asked what souvenir I would like him to bring home. However, instead of cheesecake, he brought us the flu. We've been out of commission since last Thursday. I tried to go to work this morning but the hike across the parking lot sent me into a hacking fit and they told me to hit the road.

Our weather here is the same crappy freezing rain/ice/snow and I'm so over it.

Sara!! We’ve obviously missed you and I’m so sorry to hear you all got that flu going around! Better stay home until you’re completely over it.

Yeah we’ve even had some winter weather here , but it’s been warm too, sometimes in the upper 70’s. Possible snow this coming week though

I understand how you feel but I’ve heard that flu is really bad and spreading like crazy, don’t want to give it to anyone else.
Yeah the February ups and downs in temperatures are hard on the body but it’s pretty normal for us , Saturday we’ll see some stormy weather with all kinds of possibilities . Next week chances of snow

I have a surprise day off today. Was supposed to work but Randy texted he didn’t need me.

Been raining since last night, today’s storms yet to come.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day. We went to the Moose and they had an awesome 4 course menu. They filet mignon was spot on. There were so many there that they ran out of the brownie desert but gave up Peanut Butter Pie instead, which was even better.

There were so many people there. My friends Cindy and Allen were going to meet us there but when I told them there were no tables left, they decided to wait til another night. Perry went back to the pool room and there was one booth back there so I called Cindy and they did come. It is my favorite booth now. We could talk and hear each other. I loved it. It was $60 a couple and I thought it was very nice of Perry to buy their supper. That was my Valentine's present I guess.

Rain, rain, and more rain here. Grrrr I wish it did not make me feel so bad. We are supposed to go pick up fresh sausage today and I would rather just stay at home. I will go with Perry though. He has a big order because he gets it for all his friends. They do pay him for it though. No free piggy. (except for me, he gives it to me because I fix him breakfast even though I don't eat it.)

Oh no, Sara. So sorry you have been sick. It is that time of year and there is a lot of upper respiratory infections going on around here. Knock on wood that I have not gotten anything and I hope it stays that way. Perry cannot seem to get rid of his cough and it has been 3 weeks.

Continued recovery to you and take care of yourself.

Got up too early but I guess that’s okay. Going to church with DH today, he’s going to sign sing with a group of ladies the song Love in Any Language, then the church is having a lunch together. We’re picking up Kalli and Lupin too, will be Lupin’s first time to go. I’m always a little nervous about being surrounded by a bunch of hearing strangers.

I woke up at 2:30 and thought “nope!” , managed to get back to sleep thank goodness.

It’s a bit chilly here at 26 lols, we might see 45 at 3 p.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be brutal with high temperatures of 31 and a 70% chance of snow or winter mix so I’m going to enjoy today. I’m supposed to work those days of course .

We’re praying we don’t get as much ice as they’re saying we might, that’ll cause power losses.

Temperature is starting to drop here, tomorrow morning is supposed to start at 26 degrees, possible high of 35 . Wednesday expected to be worse. Mostly sleet and freezing rain expected in our part of the state
