    Good evening everyone

Awwww he is adorable, Grandpa Joey!

Super cool that you got to hold an alligator, Dale.

Good luck tomorrow with your surgery, Rat2.

Not sure what's going on with me but I can't seem to shake this newest illness. Nose is running, sinuses are wonky, the aches are back, coughing and sneezing sporadically and scratchy throat. No fever thank goodness but it's really starting to irritate me.

Hope you all have a great rest of your day!
Aw I’m sorry you’re under the weather Sara. Probably pollen allergies getting to you.

    Good evening Dale

I could see it contributing to my ailments, for sure. Lots of stuff flying around and my eyes are itchy.

Looking forward to a quiet weekend coming up. Hope you all had a great day!
    Good evening Sara.
We’re going to have a church clean up day this weekend and Bela may be here again.

    Good evening Dale

Sweet! Hope you have nice weekend with her and clean up day sounds like a great way to give back.

We get to play catch up. ugh. But it should be a decent weekend to do it.

Hope you all have a great night :)
Aw I thought you were planning a quiet weekend. Hi Sara.

DH ‘s church is going to be giving away clothes on Saturday, not sure which he’d rather do.
Wondering if Bela knows we’re both going to be involved with church activities this weekend?

    Have a good night yourself.

The day started off poorly yesterday because the laptop that I just purchased (renewed) would not turn on. GRRRR

Between that and not being able to eat, I was a tad upset to say the least. I contacted Amazon and the seller is supposed to get in touch with me. I hope I can get it straightened out. I had to wait until I came to Perry's today because that is where my other laptop is.

Happy to report, the surgery went splendidly. I cannot wait until the 30th when they do my left eye. It is amazing. I honestly had no idea I was seeing so poorly. It's like someone turned on a light in a dim room. I return to my regular eye doctor next Wednesday (a week's checkup). They said it would get a little clearer every day, but I can already see pretty darn well without my glasses. I look funny because I took the glass on the right side out of my glasses so I could see. Yesterday, I just wore my left contact.

They gave me an IV to relax me, but I remember most of what they said and did. Nothing hurt, though. They did 24 yesterday, and I was the 23rd. At $6000 per surgery, that is $144,000. Not bad for half a day's work. Not always, but sometimes, technology is awesome. Scary, but awesome.

Thank everyone for their prayers and good thoughts.

Perry was upset today. His boss said he was going to close Perry's shop down in two month. Instead, he started it in two days. We got to his shop this morning, and they had already loaded up a bunch of his big machines. Even the ones that he was running parts on. Going to be a bit challenging for a while, I think. I keep telling him to keep an open mind because it could turn out to be good for him. We will just have to wait and see.

dale, I beg it will be hard work at the church this weekend, but I imagine you will have fun.

Sara, I sure hope you get feeling better. You should take it easy this weekend. We had a hard rain and I seem to be better. Either that are the drops I am putting in 4 times a day. heehee

Joey, that is an adorable baby, and you have reason to be a proud grandfather. Bet it brings back some wonderful memories of your daughter as a baby. I know she was a cutie, too.

Hello all. The weekend sure did go by fast. Whew! The "peeper" is still doing great and I can't wait until the 30th to get the other eye done. Still getting used to seeing colors so bright.

I went to a baby shower today, and boy have they changed since I had kiddos. They had drawings, and Perry won a bottle of bourbon. It will go in his collection. Me? I enjoyed all the finger foods.

It was outside and you could not have asked for a better day. I sat on the front porch because they had rocking chairs. I do love rocking.

Going to take care of the yard work at both houses tomorrow since we never got around to doing it this weekend. And it is Monday, so I'll start the week off trying to eat right. I have not been very successful lately, although I have started walking more.

Happy Monday to you all!

Good morning lurkers and Rat2.

Gosh I haven’t been to a baby shower in years! Bet you had a good time.

Yeah the weekend passed in a hurry, since it’s Monday I’ll be starting off with laundry. Need to dig around in the deep freeze to get stuff to thaw for the week.
