Stay cool over there, Joey. Summer is almost over and before we know it, it will be snowing. lol.

Don’t get me started on Bluetooth/iphone, retired Works great in the beginning and then as time goes on, won’t connect, searches forever so I’m stuck with the lightning cable. Which also doesn’t connect whenever it feels like it. If my commute were longer than 12 minutes I might spend more time trying to figure it out. I had Sirius for a long time and finally cancelled. Too much repetition.

Oof, Dale. Lots of kiddos at one time and while I know you adore and cherish them, it would definitely be tiring.

Rat2, I hope the dr can get things figured out with Perry. I’m sorry he’s still not feeling well. Did you say if he’s on bp meds? They might need to tweak them, I know that can take a bit to get them just right.

GP, another kindle reader over here. Thanks to TikTok currently into Dark Romance (not so much pitch black, more on the morally gray side) but I will read anything. Just finished the Kindle Unlimited trial and stayed with it. That is awesome that your son is doing well with the homeschooling. I have one and he will be a senior this fall. Not looking forward to an emptyish nest. lol

I thought I’d have a harder time adjusting to the kindle, I do love the feel of a real book in hand. The kindle is just so customizable and easy to carry, I’m hooked! The only thing that drives me nuts about it is they don’t seem to proofread the files before they become available; I’m not sure what company they have converting the text, but the amount of spelling and grammar errors is maddening lol. I’ve been with kindle unlimited for a couple years now, it’s a hell of a deal! I don’t do TikTok lol, but from what I hear in my book clubs I’m not missing much in the recommendations department lol. Everyone seems to be big on dark romance right now! I can’t do it, reading is an escape for me the last thing I want it to be is dark lol— no kink shaming here lol I’m just too sensitive to it. I can do grey area lol, depending on the content; I know I’ve read some morally grey stuff over the years lol. I just have to be mindful of my triggers.

Aww I get that, I still can’t believe my baby is a teenager now! I have mixed feelings about an empty nest lol, though with autism I don’t believe I will ever truly have one.

I'll have to double check, but I believe most of that is on the author when they submit the digital file. I have a good friend who's published on Amazon, and I'm almost positive he's on the hook for it all. So if there's a boo-boo in the digital text, it's on him. Many authors go through a 3rd party to proof read, but it cuts into the profit so many do it themselves.

Well, I just meant it’s flying by (summer). Labor Day weekend is usually a scorcher and then we might get a nice week in October or November. Glad to hear your training is done, retired and I sincerely hope you never have to use it.

Stay far away from TikTok, Gp. It can be addicting. Lolz! I agree with the horrible editing on Kindle.

Well my personal experience with the two genders definitely showed that to be true for us. Our daughter was a real challenge as a teenager, DS was a totally different situation.
