I haven't had any filling issues because I did a perfect mod on the nipple seals:

1) walk to the kitchen

2) open the cabinet under the sink

3) find the garbage can

4) throw it out

LMAO...

That's one way to Fix-um.

BTW - These are the posts that make the Vein in Martinez's Forehead Throb.

yes, unsealed is only practical for home :)

but an old Ce2 plug or a snipped standard carto mouthpiece work much better :)

Exactly. I also use the condoms I saved from old filler cartos to prevent any leaking when I carry filled CE2s with me. I've been using these things for over a year and a half, starting with the metal ones, and have never ever filled one with a syringe, and have never had leaking problems except with the first clearos until they replaced the original crappy plastic tubes with the durable ones.

I used to read the CE2 thread with both interest and amusement when the CE2 first came out and went through the first few rounds of growing pains. I bought my first pack because some outfit I was buying juice from was clearing them out and practically giving them away. When I realized I would need to use a syringe to fill them they stayed in my desk drawer for a month or two until one day I ran out of my old filler cartos and was waiting for some new ones to arrive in the mail. I still couldn't accept the absurdity of having to use a syringe so I read one thread after another looking for an alternative and found it. So from the very first one I used the first thing I did was rip out the cup seal and throw it away, fill by dripping down the side, and use only a silicone washer and mouthpiece.

I just followed suit on this one. I pulled it out and now it's vaping like a champ. No weird after taste, but definitely a leakage issue when placed upside down...even with the drip tip. At least now I can vape from it. I'll just have to vape it empty before storing;)

Is the idea behind this just to make it easier to take the cup seal out and put it back every time you need to refill?

no there is a little ring of seal material that when it is properly installed on the ceramic cup goes down inside the cup supposedly to help it seal or something but really all it does is get too close to the coil sometimes touching it even. simply take some tweezers or nail clippers or something and simply rip this part out. it doesn't have to be perfect just remove the majority of material that goes inside the cup then use as normal lol

as for filling i think the drip fill and the long tip bottle both can work well but you have to make sure that the side opposite the one you are filling from is open to let the air out and not full of juice. if the passage is full of juice then the new juice cant get in and the air cant get out and it will just puddle on the top trapping the air in the bottom. hope this helps lol

Ah, ok, thanks. As I mentioned above I've been in the yank it out with extreme prejudice and toss it in the garbage camp from the first CE2 I ever used so I wasn't even aware of this as a potential problem.

Definitely is a problem. It even mutes the flavor for me. Since I yanked it out yesterday I started to actually taste my Dragon's Blood again. Today, I am attempting to mod the cap, as last night I lost my juice from it falling sideways even with a drip tip on it. Cyrus also recommends modding a drip tip to seal it. Since I only have a few drip tips, I am going to try and mod the cap first.

I just thought I would give my experience with the Fluxo Supremes.

The first juice I used in them was 30/70 PG/VG. I had to remove the inner plug because the juice was too thick to drip down the sides. I went ahead and fluffed the wicks because I already had the silicon plug removed. After filling I replaced it and vaped away. Overall, this was a pretty good experience but I had a few burt hits every once and a while. Over time, my 'inner plug removal tool' (made out of a throwing dart that I bent the tip on to make a hook) started tearing the plug. Eventually, I decided just to try it without the plug because along with it tearing I noticed the atomizer was burning the silicon. I inserted my own 510 drip tip and what do you know, absolutely no leaking! I have held it upside down for about 2 minutes and there were no signs of leakage. When I went to hit it, I expected gurgling from flooding. Nope, it hit perfectly. :vapor::D:vapor:

that's impressive nebulas. would you be able to post a pic? I wonder if your drip tip is longer than what I have so its creating a nice seal

I can post a pic in a few hours.

It does create a nice seal. After I removed the silicon seal I noticed that I could move the atomizer up and down so I found that if I lift it just a bit, then press my drip tip into it, it pushes down the atomizer right where it should be to create that nice seal.

Fwiw, although, i said my first juice I tried with it was 30/70 PG/VG, I have mostly been using 70/30 PG/VG so it doesn't leak even with thinner juices.
