thank you tinaf1971:D sorry one of your pets passed away. almost three years ago i lost a very sweet cat after 20 years of awesome friendship. that same year i lost my mom and believe it or not, one was not deeper than the other. people think i'm crazy for saying that but my mom didn't raise a dummy:toast: animals are our friends and soul mates too.

when i was about 20, i had four guinee pigs, each named after a member of depeche mode ahahahads i think about getting another every once in a while<3
She's beautiful!

Tina, I'm sorry about Isis. The problem with pets is that we usually outlive them, so we have to suffer their loss. Who was it who said, "It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all"?

William Shakespeare.

And he was right, especially when it comes to our fur-babies.

While i dont want to steal away the thread especially with the recent losses of our most loved .... I thought i'd share a few words from a poem i wrote for my grandpa. Maybe there is a furball parent on the otherside to meet your loved pet!

You sent a message one quiet night
in not so many words that you were alright
your time had come to travel afar
to join the others for the journey ahead

Although there was sadness and many tears shed
we tightened together for a message to you
the gift of love burns strong in our hearts
Many of words we wish to say
only what falls are smiles and prayers

Your journey is complete and you may lay
so peaceful among those within your stay

Just close your eyes and she will appear
Your love is here to take your hand
binded together on the road ahead
You are once more forever together again

Thankyou means alot.
Finally got a full pic of tommie yesterday.... You can see how the extra snails from my parents last winter has made him grow up a bit... Lol

I didn't realize Tommie was that big. He seems to be content and comfortable being held. Does he like being held and touched? I don't know a lot about lizards but think they're beautiful. The prehistoric look of them is so exotic.
