I use the ready-made wires for my Sophias. Don't see a reason to make my own. I love mine and use Sophias in three of my tanks. The other two I'm still using mini Protanks because I bought them along with more heads than I can count. I figure I'll use them until I use up all the heads which could be a while since I rebuild them too.

Honestly, the wire was a consideration and for right now I plan on purchasing ready-made R/NR wire. I also got a 5-pack of the coils to hold me over (this is my 1st rebuildable). Something about it just appeals to me so I hope it was a good choice.

Then again it's Chief, who went to a b&m so that he and the guy their could whip out each other's preciouses...

Well, let it be known that Tony and I have agreed on everything the past few days. See, I'm not THAT bad ;)

Those ready-made wires are a no-brainer for me. The Sophia just may be in my future (although it will be interesting to see the new releases).
