I can go to TJMaxx and spend a reasonable amount of money on a designer handbag. Would be nice if vape gear worked in a similar way. For example, UD makes the Igo stuff and it works pretty well. Someone needs to make a budget atty that works well but isn't strictly a clone. That would end the how arguing thing right there.
That is what the Russian was supposed to be... An "official" clone of the Kayfun.
They do that in other industries... In guitars, you have the Squier (offshore made copy of a Fender) for 1/6 the price.
You have Emerilware in cookware (AllClad sends their materials to China to have them stamped out), but at a fraction of the price.
I also agree the TJ Maxx concept is great for clothing. You have companies doing the same thing in golf clubs as well... Would be nice to see it in vape gear as well. Sometimes the difference in performance between the entry market mass market vape gear and the advanced devices is the deciding factor between someone sticking with vaping or not. So then comes the affordability vs. Belief in clones.
The smart thing, in my opinion would be for some of these one man shop custom mod/atty companies (vicious ant, Svoemesto, ChiYou etc), buy some of the better chinese copies (like ehpro and Hcigar do), and sell them as a lower cost alternative to the handmade versions.
