Oh now I remember what I wanted to say. If anyone is interested in 18650 batteries, the Panasonic NCR18650PF (button top) is superb and has a ridiculously long life. Lasts me easily 1.5 days vaping at 15W (1.2 ohms, 4.3V)

Speaking of which, my provari has been. Different lately.

I used to max out at 4.2V on a 1.2 ohms coil before getting errors. Which makes sense because that's pretty much 15W limit. Recently I've been able to fire my 1.2 ohms coil at 4.3 or 4.4V. Interesting

Hmmm...

Maybe it's only firing at 15w, but letting you think it's higher to make you happy. Dang that Kiwi is pushing the limits again. Might as well keep him happy since he's ignoring the error codes.

It probably IS firing at 15 watts, and here's the difference - your old coil may have really been 1.16 ohms, with the display rounded UP to 1.2. That would only fire at 4.1. But the new coil is really 1.25 ohms, the display rounding DOWN to 1.2, but it will fire up to 4.4.

The 'Vari is limiting based on a more accurate read of the resistance than it shows on the display...

Make sense? Does it fit what you've seen?

(oh - and credit where due - I THINK it was Baditude that first pointed out this kind of scenario)

Ah right. Assuming that chip reading IS more accurate than display then that makes sense.

Ah yes yes.

Also anyone tried juice from Yaeliq? The reviews are ridiculously good, and it's 18 bucks for 100 ml?!?!

Yeap! Apparently they have free shipping for orders above 50bucks now.

The only draw back is it apparently takes anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks for orders to get it. Might be well worth it if you discover a ADV! At that price point, you're almost at DIY pricing already.

Can't wait to get back home. So much stuff to buyyyy

When do you get to come home? What happened with your delivery? How are you feeling? Sooo many questions. :D

Dunno yet! It's gonna depend entirely on my recovery and all that. Doc says it can be anywhere from late July to early sept so we will see. I did specifically request for a more comprehensive treatment, so that when I fly back, I'll actually be walking/hobbling along instead of being on a wheelchair.

As for my delivery, it's either sitting on the ground at my buddy's front door or in his mail box. I hope to god it's the latter!

And I'm good. Been cutting down on the pain meds, but still hurting a whole lot so that pretty much sucks. But I guess it'll get better! Overall I'm in superb spirits :))) I've been limiting my visits here cos the atmosphere's been pretty negative lately, so I hope it gets better soon.

Now my turn. HOW HAZ YOU BEEN :D

Yaeliq is an interesting company.

Their hardware is pretty neat.

Some of my ejuices make me feel ill to my stomach, any one else experience this?

If I vape too much sweet stuff, sometimes it does for me too. In RL, anything overly sweet or too much sweet stuff makes me sick. So I wonder if it's the artifical sweeteners some of these vendors add.

Good morning.

4 weeks without cigarettes. 1 day at a time :)

Woohoo! Keep strong and vape on! Eventually, unless someone reminds you of a certain time frame, it starts to fly by without even thinking or knowing about it.
