Sooo .. I ordered some ready-made R/NR Kanthal, EkoWool, and a couple drip tips today. Kind of excited and a bit nervous about building the incredibly tiny coil in THE Dripper PRO. Oh, purchased a magnifying contraption from Rat Shack, a torch, and a few assorted tools yesterday too. I think I'm ready.

Just don't let it throw you off your stride.

It can do that if you let it.

Keep your everyday set up running so you don't get the heebie jeebis and have it threaten your progress.

Whatever you all do, do NOT post on the Outside! sub-forum, those guys have lost touch with the meaning of their subforum and have descended into armchair politics, and political correctness. God forbid they see a ProVarinati banner because their all inclusive group WILL attack you for no reason other than having the audacity to post a thread on their precious forum.

Just to bring this back up.

Well, I have backups for my backups in place. One reason I liked the Dripper Pro was the availability of pre-made coils/wicks in the event I just can't construct one properly. I'm determined and believe I'll be ok. Not in a hurry either (I have 5 pre-made just in case). Thanks for the encouragement.

I. SUCK. AT. COIL and Wick.
It's like a big traumatic experience for me, almost every time.
And YET, I manage to successfully make "The Dripper" work well - I think it's easier to get a good vape from that thing than from most any other kind of rebuildable. So you should be fine!!!

So, anyone got any big plans for the 4th? Mine are to stay home, let the hubs bbq, and do as little as possible.

Not a big plan per se but I'll be at a friend's for a BBQ, sun-worshipping, floating in the pool, and BEER. The 4th actually starts off a stay-at-home vacation for me and several friends. YAY.
