My credit card got hit for $49.95 on 6/24; 3 days after making a purchase at Ahlusion. The Ahlusion purchase was the only time I used that credit card in over a month. The charge was by some herbal tea place in florida I never heard of. Called cc company and filed dispute. They will call me tomorrow and issue new card and number to me. Screwed up my taking advantage of a couple of sales this weekend. Oh well. Check your credit card accts.

My credit card got used after an online juice purchase too. Not Ahlusion but another company. I didn't notice it for several months. Three charges were from a herbal tea place in FL too. Two others were for some male vitamin supplements in FL and three were for Web Pics Ready and when I googled them, my antivirus says it's got some malicious code there. I waited too long to file a dispute on a few charges and hopefully I'll be able to recoop the rest. The thing is I have alerts on my CC so I should have noticed. Makes me wonder if these juice companies use the same CC vendor.

Have you seen the ikea car?

I miss Ikea there isn't one here. I actually like building Ikea furniture. I've had some very hard ones from other companies. There was a desk that I got all put together, then discovered that the top, which was the last part, was too heavy to lift by myself. It ended up taking 3 people.

This one was the worst though. These were the entire directions. It came completely disassembled (such as the legs were in 3 parts). The pieces (including some not pictured) were in a couple of flat boxes and all of many pieces of hardware (that aren't pictured) were dumped together in one bag. I gave up on some parts of it and made my own.

I made it through all the excitement of everyone getting hit throughout the Christmas season. Not a charge. This is the first time I have been hit. I buy my juice from Ahlusion almost exclusively and frequently, this is the first problem. Has to be the processor or my cc company. I have had this card for over 10 years and this is only the second time I have had this happen. Guess I was overdue.

I would have opened the box, taken out the directions, searched for real directions. Then I would have promptly put it all back in the box and shipped it back. I could never have put that together. Congratulations to you for doing so. Quite an achievement.

The only reason why I'm looking at telescopic is because in the last coop, I ended up buying a boatload of every battery size. So...... Yeah. Heheheheh.

I'm not really looking looking, just poking around. I haven't checked FT, I was reading threads about what people liked. They all seem the same - shiny with a bottom switch most of the time. I'm coming up on 2 years, but I can't find anything I don't already have that calls to me.

But there is VaperCon this weekend.

ETA: I just checked the VaperCon West website. They are having a Star Wars costume contest. WTH?

prepaid visa from walmart is always the way to shop online. they can only get you for whats on the card ......and it makes identity theft obsolete being that its a prepaid card. so you are only linked to it thru name and address. just saying, been using this trick for over a decade.

hope everyone is having a good weekend thus far. fast tech does have some good deals. have to wonder how authentic their merchandise really is tho. anyone here ever ordered a kayfun from there?

I do this as well. PayPal, while not quite as identity-fraud-safe as a pre-paid Visa card, is another nice option if the merchant is on board. I've been a victim of credit card theft btw so I watch my card transactions carefully.
