I miss Ikea
This one was the worst though. These were the entire directions. It came completely disassembled (such as the legs were in 3 parts). The pieces (including some not pictured) were in a couple of flat boxes and all of many pieces of hardware (that aren't pictured) were dumped together in one bag. I gave up on some parts of it and made my own.
Ouch, that just looks like a pain. I'm like most men, directions never get opened. I look at the pic of it put together, grab a beer and figure it out.
That usually translates to 12 hours if cursing and several tools getting thrown, a hole in the wall needing to be latched and once one a while a broken window.
Lol.
There's no way I'd be able to put this together. I can't even figure out how to get the drawers out of my tool chest. I got directions, just can't figure it out. I just bought a chair and tried to get one already assembled but most chairs don't come this way.

Since I do not see that anyone has addressed your Fasttech inquiry on Kayfuns, I will give it a shot. Keep in mind I have not purchased anything from them yet. But I lurk, a lot, and read.
First, if you have not read or checked this thread, give it a looksee. The people there tend to let each other know which items are good and which ones are trash. FT has zillions of Kayfun type clones and some are decent and some have problems like poor machining, screws that rust quickly, etc.

I have not been on that thread for a while so I do not know if they are still as helpful as they used to be, but I would go over there and ask them for feedback on which ones are the good ones.
I've bought my fair share of junk from FT. I call it junk cause everything has broken.
The only way I can see myself buying anything from them now is if they were the only vendor left in the world with that must have item I needed more than air to breathe.

I buy what I refer to as incidentals from FT.
Granted I've only placed two orders with them and have no complaints. I also have realistic expectations.
The vape community is small here, a good friend of mine from highschool owns one shop; but, he only sells authentics. Another shop where I've gotten to know the employees well enough to be honest with me. Buys from either rainbow heaven or FT.
The FEW things I've purchased from FT I've called to see which one would be quality.
But I generally stick to things like drip tips, hardware, o-rings, things that I won't really depend on, if that makes sense.
When it comes to mods or RBAs I stick with the known quality brand clones; then, get authentic and/or wait for a deal I can't pass up. I just don't trust a "kayfun style," made by an unknown group of people making the least amount of money possible. I'd rather see ehpro or hcigar remove the logos and call the clones "kayfun style" the quality is great and i will continue to buy their goods. I'm just not a fan of the total clone concept when it comes to taking the name; but, I'm a fan of the quality those companies produce. I've been trying to think of a way to put that statement. It just sucks that the quality producers go that one extra step when they don't need to.

Fasttech at least doesn't say "authentic" unless it really is.
All their Kayfuns though, are clones, and the quality is likely to vary depending on which one - I'd read the reviews...

So, if you get a $14 Kayfun, it's not going to be SvoeMesto quality. Or Kebo Russian quality, either.
But if you get a $22 Tobeco Kayfun Style Atomizer, it's likely to be the exact same Tobeco Kayfun you might see in a store for $50.

Tony - you're totally right. At this point, HCigar and EHPro have actually established their OWN reputation for quality. I think if I were them, I'd start branding stuff with my own logo...

Some times I wonder why I go visit my son. If I didn't go I wouldn't feel like this right now ( every one here is so happy to have me back that they don't realize how bad I'm hurting. The pain will go away in a few days or so but right now it's the pits

It would be cool to see ehpro or hcigar to do something like the kayfun black edition, which I absolutely love, only not even reference kayfun. I'm not a fan of the way they labeled that even. Once they made those slight changes it's not really a kayfun by definition anymore, nor is it lic. By svoemesto. It's just a high quality customized clone, that happens to be an excellent performing one. To me it's a prime example of a clone outperforming an authentic.
My caravels clone,(the one I lost) was an ehpro with an ehpro V2 kfl clone on top. I guess that's another advantage to the clones. Altogether the rig was about a hundred dollar value, including the vtc4 battery, so I wasn't AS ...... as I would have been had it been the provari with authentic kfl on it. I would have torn apart the festival we were at searching for it.
