well I bought a trident. was running it black one, on my black nemesis. and just didn't really like dripping. i wouldn't mind building coils and wicking myself. but I want to load a few tanks and alternate flavors. yes I am currently using 6 mic level. moved rather quickly from 18-12 to 6. but in my defense, I smoked 2 packs a day...and when I started vaping I seriously could not put it down. I burned up a cool fire 1 in about 3 weeks. I made a mix last night of banana pudding, banana milkshake and a touch of caramel. made about 10 mils, loaded 5 and have almost vaped the entire tank down. I am running 1.6 ohm coils at about 3.5 on my Provari. I don't really care about the TH. more into flavor. and from all the reading I am doing, thinking I need to get a nice rebuildable so I can get the most out of my juice. I am def a research type. and the hype does all point at the kayfun. might get one tomorrow or the next day and build me a smooth coil and give it a shot.

I made the same move into kfls for the same reason- you won't be sorry! They are the BEST RBAs to learn on. Very easy to work with and great production. Ive used them exclusively for months and only now started to branch out.
Almost anyone will tell you a KFL and Provari are a match made in heaven.
It's the Bennifer of mods

Especially considering what he moved up from!!! It's pretty cool to watch someone's reaction when they get such a great vape!

Lol- I made a convert last night. One of my finances friends is "considering" quitting the stinkies. She tried Lizzie's MVP with a tumblr-my provari with the taifun and kayfun then she made "that face" ordered her provari and a kfl while we were still at the bar!
I felt so good about myself i ordered another shot

[IMO] It doesn't matter how much research one does- you cant still ultimately end up with junk & not just from FT.
In the beginning FT served a purpose- now, I'd rather pay a bit more, have my item sooner & in the event something goes wrong I can have it dealt with in a timely fashion.
Besides, I lack the patience to wait weeks to a month for a shipment.

I have only ordered from FastTech once with an order small enough that I don't really care about it. I have been waiting for the order for 3 weeks now. From eBay, I got an order from China (makeup brush holders I use as mod stands) in less than 2 weeks. I think the whole thing is just hit or miss.

In the past few weeks I've had a bunch of people talking to me about quitting but based on their budgets, ProVari doesn't enter my convo.
I point them in the direction of much cheaper devices & they moan about that too.
If I actually had one person by a ProVari based off of me I'd do a cartwheel.

Lol- both orders I've made I paid extra for shipping and got them both in 8 days. But I followed y'all's advice and kept the orders arranged by category.
As for junk, I've been lucky enough to avoid junk since I got off the egos and found the interwebs. But I also have certain people whose opinion I trust on certain things. If that masked sense.
I'm not going to ask reoville what they think of reo, when I want an unbiased opinion.

I always suggest an MVP with aerotank for a started kit. Always- it's affordable, it works, the battery lasts forever and I love it! It got me to quit. I think the VV/VW on it is great and and a good way for a beginner to learn and the aero holds up well, won't crack if they find a corrosive juice they like and they can adjust the draw.
This was different we had everything at the bar and our friend was trying all of it, she had just thrown away her ego and was complaining that she wanted to quit but the ego/evod wasn't working for her so Lizzie gave her the MVP to try and then she grabbed my provari off the table and hit it. As soon as I saw her face I knew she was hooked on my p-thingy.
But I have and will never tell a noob to spend that kind of money on a trial - it'll scare them off and do a disservice.

Believe me when I tell you, VV/VW is too much for some people to start off with.
I'm saying this based on the people I know- an EVOD is what they need or a Spinner/Twist- anything with more than one button is one button too much.

When I did my FT shopping, my expectations weren't high- you get what you pay for.
What I came to realize is many items are hyped & it may be a few months before they become junk at which time there's nothing much that can be done about it other than trashing them.
For intense, the Trident as pretty as it is- 2 of them the positive post broke in half. Yes, still usable but disappointing they broke at all.

Oh wow- yeah I've not bought any atty yet- I did buy a mod only because it was a 15 buck 18650 caravela and I'm not expecting it to be worth a poop. If I get 3 weeks out of it I'll be happy.
I'm getting a good mech shortly anyway. But intend just buy bottles, screws, drip tips, parts washers o-rings. Little foolishness that I like to stockpile. In the big scheme for 5-10 bucks more you can get quality and I would rather one quality item than 2 or 3 questionable ones.

I'll keep that in mind. I always looked at that from the aspect of what I wish someone told me before I spent a bunch of money on stuff that didn't work, or had to deal with wanting a cig by the end of the work day because the egos voltage drop was not giving me the nic to get me through a day. I figured the VV/VW and big battery made the difference for me, I would forward that on to others.

I'm not talking about voltage drop- merely some forms of tech are too advanced for some people.

I have a buddy at work, that I have been trying to get him to make the switch, for about a year, and a buddy of his wanted to skip all the cheep devises, and get the best, and I gave him all the info about Provape, by the next day he ordered a starter kit, that was very cool.

Gotcha
But I was referring to the natural drop if an ego throughout the day. When I first tried switching I was fine for the first few hours; then as the ego would drop voltage it would not vape as well, because it's not regulated, and I would start reaching for a cig.
The MVP, they can set it at 8-8.5 W and never mess with that again, until they get comfortable. I see it as a new vapor combining an introduction to vaping with that next step incorporated and saving them money. Plus with the battery being so big that would take a certain degree of stress outbid the equation.
At least that's what I'd did for me and my fiancé. She hates tech. She still searches for Google instead of going to google. So when she wanted to quit I gave her my MVP and she was calling asking how to do what so I walked her through setting at at 8.5 W and she didn't touch the VV/VW for a month. When she was finally comfortable she took that step on her own.
Now we had to get her the pink one and I'm waiting for her to a provari but we shall see.
I don't know I saw it as a financially prudent love since that one device can fill so many needs.

I have taken 2 friends since I started to the vape store and talked them into buying cool fire 1 instead of the evod kit. It still comes with an I clear 30b Just need batteries and a charger. Told them both eventually they will move up and will still need the charger and batteries. Lol. They are both still using theirs. I broke mine. Of course it was my fault. But I till decided I needed something that was going to be a little more difficult to break.

Some times I wonder why I go visit my son. If I didn't go I wouldn't feel like this right now :(( every one here is so happy to have me back that they don't realize how bad I'm hurting. The pain will go away in a few days or so but right now it's the pits :(

I think I know exactly what you are saying. My son lives in Seattle and I am in the Nashville area. I have not seen him for almost 2 years. My first grandbaby is 6 months old and I have not met him yet. And life keeps me tied to home for another while. I hope you feel better soon. There will be a next visit.
