Yea, it's great isn't it!

Really simplifies your life, being able to head out with nothing more than maybe a spare Atty.

As I have found, especially with LR 510 Attys, do not juice them when they are hot, they will poop the bed if you do. Just pump, enjoy for up 5 or 6 hits, sit back, enjoy and chill, then repeat. Cartos also work if you have some.

At 6V, Standard 510 Attys trip my Battery'a protection circuit. Standard 901 do not and are GREAT. I'm using Tenegery 900 mAh batterys.

I've pumped over 300 ml of juice through mine and it is still rocking and my only go-to PV. My SB and eGo are second class citizens now.:toast:

Just my experience.

Interesting... didn't know I could trip the bats protection circuit... probably what I'm doing. I've had so much trouble with my REO today. Sometimes it works great and then a few seconds later doesn't work at all... then later works again... That is from me pumping too much juice on the atty while it's hot? Probably am doing that because I felt this system couldn't really flood.

Don't over pump! Took me a week to realize that it needs very little juice. I find if I blow out an atty I usually only need a second or so hold. Also don't re-pump till you taste the first hint of burn. I kept thinking that I could vape it while slightly flooded....not recommend. Also keep the 6ml bottle nearly full and the Reo basically feeds itself.

I'm back to using just the one (18650) and all is fine today. I suppose the problem I was experiencing was with the stacked batteries. Although I think it did happen with the 18650 too, but I probably over pumped. I'll stick with the suggested battery and stop messing with prefection. This MOD the REO is just great! In fact I've got Robert making me a "lefty" now.
THanks all

Oooo when you get your "lefty" .. will you please post some pics ??? LOL why didn't I think of that!

Day 2 in Reo Land here ... all is well !! I tried it at 6V, and yep .. very, very nice, but .... I sooo don't want to love with it at 6 because I really do like the 2 day battery life of my 18650s ........
Still feels very strange to just head out the door with only my Reo. I have a spare atty in my car, and in my purse (although would probably take an Act of God to find that one)

Well, You can do what I do, start with 6V in the AM, run them for 6 or 8 hrs then switch Attys and drop down to 3.7 for night time. Let the 6V's charge overnight and repeat. :)

Got my REO yesterday afternoon. It's the beautiful #4 Panauk with Maple door.
I understand why some folks here "semi-retired" their Silver Bullet. I have taken the battery out of mine and laid it up to rest for now.

Nothing beats the REO auto juicing device that I can imagine. It's perfection. The large 6 ml juice bottle is speaking for itself in volumes. In a very loud voice too. Also, the juice bottle is light in weight, doesn't add to the exterior profile, and is easily switched out or refilled. That is an extremely good deal. Not to mention the drippers' juice capture reservoir built into the top.

Even the door knob juice button can be easily removed and placed inside, allowing the unit to slim down and be placed in a tight jean pocket like a pack of analogs if needed. And yes, the on/off switch is not in the way either as it is recessed into the beautiful wood.

The awesome reviewers in the videos spoke of the wood being thick and strong. I only now realize how accurate they spoke. The REO is carved out of a block of wood, not glued together from pieces that could contain structural weakness. You really could run over this thing in a car and not hurt it. And, did I mention that the wood is beautiful yet?

Also, the vendor Redeyedancer is a great guy who really showed his concern and passion throughout the ordering process. He's going to be swamped real soon, if he's not already, so be nice to him.

So far, I've tried a LR 501 atty. Wow! Lots of vapor and throat hit. Then I went to the suggested 801. All I can say here is, I understand why this is the default adapter. Tons of vapor and taste.

Now, I have to try the regular and LR 901's that I have. And the different cartos. Someone said the LR 501 cartos from Pro-vape were a must try. I don't know about you, but, God put these folks here on Earth to save me time and heartache, so, I listen to them. Those 501 cartos are definitely on my "hit list".

I'm now waiting on batteries for 6 volts, although I beleive 3.7 will remain my default. One guy suggested an idea ... 6v in the am .... 3v in the pm ... rotation. That sounds like a winner too. Probably the thing to do is to just keep rotating them ... like we do juices .. to keep things from getting old. Unless of course, you find that "sweet spot" combo ... that "zone of vaping heaven" that I will just call ... "Vaporer's Nirvana".

All in all, Let me say I still want a GGTS (as I already have the AFS V2, and I like the GG fanatics) and a Nuck's Fist Pack (with voltage selection on the fly), and maybe the Meucci Moochie and a Cloud Tekk Mod.

But the list of mods I want has suddenly gotten real short now that I have the REO.

I can easily see me buying a "harem" of REO's. She is that fine. She is "ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS".

Place your orders now folks!

Hey REO Family. (Yes, l love you folks like family for convincing me to buy a REO)

I was just looking at my cell phone case sitting beside my REO and it is almost a fit for the REO. This has me thinking there has got to be a nice leather cellphone or other case out there in the world that would fit this baby like a glove.

So, I think the mission objective is clear here. WE HAVE GOT TO FIND THAT CASE. Hopefully one that might even hold one spare adapter, and/or maybe even a spare bottle.

I know this is ambitious, but look at how close the REO is in size to a cell phone case.

I'm really deeply wanting to order one of these beautiful items, but the website only allows one wood combo on the purchase page (tho it only nails one as out of stock on home page), and the "custom made" tab doesn't work - is there a new and improved website somewhere that I'm missing, or do I need to just call him?

Click the box that you order from .... it's a drop down menu :)

Doh! Thank you! I am ordering immediately.
I've only owned V4L batts (I have 50), with cartos, love that arrangement, I have a lot of juice from various vendors and just fill em, all very good, but wondering what the learning curve here is gonna be...
Anyone want to be generous to a suddenly-newbie-again and just suggest a simple shopping list re what else I need to buy and where the best place to purchase might be?
I work a kazillion hours and it's hard to wander the forums - (I'm not looking to use cartos with this unless someone thinks it a great idea).
SO grateful for this thread! I chain-vape and really am totally taken with the brilliance and beauty of this item. And grateful for any hand-holding. (Actually I'm a very quick study, but haven't fooled with atomizers and dripping at all. Very excellent jump-start re how to do this already above, just need to figure out what else to purchase efficiently for good "starter kit".)

I've only had my Reo for 3 days now, and I absolutely LOVE it !! It's as functional as it is beautiful !

So far I seem to have settled in with LR 510, and regular 801 attys, at 3.7V ... I just seriously love the 2 day battery life from the 18650s. Having not tried the LR 801 yet, I ordered 1 from Nhaler today to try out .... got my LR 510s from Heaven-Gifts, and honestly don't remember where I got the regular 801 from, but you can pick those up just about anywhere ... batteries I got from Battery Junction, but again, they can be found at several places ...

You are going to totally love your Reo, they are amazing ! :)

I've only used 510 and 901's. Who has great 801's? I want to order some for my REO
My favorite penstyle atomizer is the Joye 302. I sing its praises (and list suppliers) in my comparative review.

Check out Eastmall. Red recommended them to me. Shipping is flat $15 regardless of how much you order. They've got the LR510s and LR801s for $3 a piece :)
Running neck and neck with the 302 in my good graces is EastMall's "regular" 801, which itself is lower resistance (~2.5 ohms) than most (3.5 ohms). I've not tried the new EastMall LR801s you mention, but at 1.6 ohms, they probably would be too intense for me (as I find the 1.5 ohm LR801 from NHaler).

And I am curious about the 2.0 ohm LR801 from Ikenvape.

[FYI (for those not familiar with low-resistance or penstyle attys): 'LR' is not the manufacturer's initials, but Low Resistance's. These 801s are all DSE801 (or a clone from an undisclosed manufacturer). Other compatible penstyle models are the BE112 and RN4072 (and the Joye 302 of course). Smoore's M201 also is a penstyle, but its atomizer is not compatible with the others' batteries (or with most 801 mod fittings or adapters). Since the DSE801 was the first (I believe), '801' often is used to refer to all penstyles (like kleenex or xerox), but it can be misleading.]

OK. I just figured all this out maybe sort of and bought a pile of stuff. A few questions... there seem to be 3 kinds of Ultrafire 18650 batteries. In the videos the blue ones seem to be used but they're unprotected so i got the higher MAH ones from battery junction... which are protected. Couple of each. Did I do wrong?
Got a universal 18650 charger; I'm so fried I don't remember which one - was $12.50. Amazon. OK?

Got 5 801 regular attys, 3 drip tips, and 1 HV 801 atty, because it was there. No clue. From nhaler because it's an easy to navigate site and i no longer can see. Is that more or less a doable "kit"? (I already have tons of juice, mmh, tasty vapor, and Ms T and DIY FS and stuff.)

I have never used attys, just cartomizers with the attys hidden inside - if I chain vape, which i do, about how long do they last? Will I immediately discover that nhaler sells the worst attys?

Did I forget anything?

I just worked a 60 hour week, love Don who was the man whose charm got me going on this trip, and off cigarettes after 40 years at 3-4 packs a day, even tho I have NO idea what he's talking about up there, mostly (and love darling V4L Steve, whose syntax is rather easy to grasp... laughing) and might have bought anything, hell if I know.

I also got the all-purple-wood box, which initially was distinctly my least favorite, but my 1st picks are out of stock, and the fried-er I got gazing at them the cooler it seemed... ya, elegant exotic purple wood. Skinny blonde, little black dress, purple REO, probably old enough to be your mother... you think? Also, Aubergine is basically purple... well eggplant purple, but it's a sign.

It's all the iron hand of necessity shaking the dice box of chance. Nietzsche said that. O boy. I'm getting a REO. What an amazing invention. Thanks all.
