This is the 2.5mm version with the coil fairly high up.
I find with the tilemahos the coil raised up is better for flavour, too close to the air hole and the air is only hitting part of the coil which seems to make it a little harsh, but with the coil higher I seem to get a good result. Who knows, maybe I just got lucky but I set both of them up like this, 0.8Ω and all good so far.
Take in to consideration this is 8 turns on a 3mm wick, thats a lot of coil to get air to which is why I went for the 2.5mm version. My flavour chaser editions I would have the coil more central.
I don't know how many springs you have, or if you are able to do so, but pushing the coils to the centre and trying to get them to stay there so they are more densely spaced over the air hole may give you a better result. You would probably need to compress the inner coils of the spring and heat it though to get it to stay in that position.
Personally I didn't have to mess about with mine, I built it as close to my usual build as possible, more wick due to having a wider diameter to fill, cut off flush with the body and properly soak the wick with juice before I put the chimney on it so I know it is fully saturated.
I hope you get it working. If not, I will buy it off you for €5 so I can try the smaller air hole and make a decision which one I like best
