hey Holman, i knew i liked you for some reason, your prob a rebb too i bet, some dang good fishin in Harrodsburg.

when i was a teenager i fell off a cliff in the hills in Daniel-Boone natl forest in Powell county, wound up loosing half of my left leg, i have a plaque in the ranger station there saying i am the only one to survive a fall there, i was young (19) and dumb and full of jack, man i loved those mountains; they say i fell 250 feet and i ripped my knee to shreds, seen a tree there up in no-man's land that had Daniel-Boone carved in it it might have been the real thing..

still using Ti and loving it @ .28 at 28 watts on my rdna40 with the blu-moo jooze, tastes so fine....i'm still gonna get an SX

edit: the sun has been popping out with the sound of thunder in the back-ground, with rain and wind at the same time, my mater plants are still ok tho!

Well my father was from Alabama so I guess that makes me a Reb. by blood and past life style. The fishing was great and probably the thing I miss the most living here in the Utah desert that God forgot. I could find forgotten back woods lakes that I could catch so many Bass that by the end of the day my thumb would be raw from lipping bass off the hook. I was strictly artificial bait and catch and release and would fish almost exclusively Bass, scrappy little devils. Beside it made me feel good to out smart them even when they were not in the mood to hit. Hmmm... did I just compare my intelligence against that of a Bass. ;)

Alright guys, I've literally read every single post in this thread, and I have a few questions:

1) Has anyone used ESG (e smokeguru) Ti wire? I've used it in regulated, mech, and am about 10 minutes from using it in my ipv4 in TC mode. I have had no ill effects, no oxidizing, and great flavor. If memory serves, his is 92% pure. Even in my mech I have not even had a dreaded dry hit.
2) Has anyone used Sweet Spot Vapors Ti wire? I received said Vapemail a few hours ago, but have not built with it just yet.
3) I also have used some 24 gauge pure "jewelry" titanium I ordered from Amazon. So far, the flavor isn't quite there with that one, but I'm experimenting with temp settings.
4) Why did I not find my fellow peoples of like mind until now!? Lol

Thanks!
As a treat, an image of my triple parallel 28 gauge ESG.

1) do not use ESG titanium on a TC mod. I tried and failed. The dna 40 will kick you out of TC mode and depending on your build and Watt settings you're going to get a nasty hot hit in Wattage mode.

That wire is an Ti alloy and rather resistance stable compared to pure Ti or nickel. I still have 9.9m of it.

I'm running ESG's alloy in my iPV4 as I type this. For several hours now. It has yet to kick me out of temp mode, give me any errors, or get too hot. I even have it in here as a sleeper/continuous chain coil, and it appears to be reading it like a champ. Dual coil, chain of 30 gauge. No attitude associated with my reply, I'm just stating what is currently happening for my experience so far.

hey Tony Phone guy was gonna try my 2 strand twist w/30ga Ti, i was wanting to know what he thought, sorry for the late reply my bro.

.....rolf
Well the titanium dioxide hasn't gotten to me yet. I twisted some 30g in my drill until it snapped. Wrapped 6 wraps (couldn't get 7 to fit right) around a 2.4mm screwdriver.

Ohm reader: 0.33
Dna40: 0.40
Sx mini m class: 0.38

My previous build was 5 wraps on single strand 30g Ti wire on 3mm and it was 0.50 ohms. :/ not sure what's going on there.

This is in my Taifun gt2... I honestly can't tell any difference in vape between the twisted or the single strand 30g Ti wire.

If you look closely, none of the wraps are touching... If you can zoom in on the right side it looks close but they are not actually making contact. Maybe my coil-making-fu is off... I was never great at pretty Coils but they always worked.

As far as I know "kicking out of temp mode" is a dna feature.

If it's working for you, great. I can't really explain how the heck it might be working if the resistance barely changes across a wide range of temperature. Did you do the water test? And the dry cotton test?

my wraps are much closer together, but that should work.....i can't figure out how to post a pic with this new software

I do everything from my phone.. I'm on Android and here's what I do.

Get the imgur app for your phone. (setting up an account is optional and not needed)
Take the picture with your phone
Upload (share on android) using the imgur app
When it's done, it'll give you either the direct url of the uploaded image or if you do it all from the imgur app it will show you a bbcode {img} copy button that will copy to clipboard the exact line need to post a picture... Looks something like this

{img} http://imgur.com/djd7dj {/img}
(now in the real bbcode replace the { and } brackets with [ and ])

So on an Android phone it's as easy as taking a picture, sharing it with imgur and clicking the button with the tags and url already embedded and ready to paste into a thread.
Simple. ;)

I tried to space the Coils to make sure they wouldn't touch, since it was suggested that possibly some Coils were touching and maybe that's my issue.?

Like I said in the squape Reloaded thread, I'm heavily invested in TC at this point kind of went into it blind and have not had the results I wanted. Maybe I'm being too critical? Maybe I'm nuts? The numbers (for the most part) seem correct, the settings seem correct, the resulting vape doesn't seem correct. And I feel like I'm chasing what I already had working..... If it's not broke, fix it anyway kind of thing....

my cell phone don't even have a camera or android.......i never had any probs with the last soft-ware here but the new soft-ware has me by the short-hairs

Well however you get your pictures, on a computer, upload them to imgur.com and when it's uploaded on the right side I think you'll see the buttons, one of them should say bbcode for forums or something...if you click that it will copy the right formatted code to post a picture.

Here are some screen shots from my phone browser in desktop mode. Should look the same on a pc or Mac (basically)

This is the screen after you clicked upload a picture, browse computer, selected the picture and clicked start. You should see this screen.

This is a closeup on the right side where you see the bbcode for forums button which will copy the formatted link to your copy clipboard. Then you can paste (ctrl v) that into your thread and we can all see the pictures you want us to see. :)

it's a lot easier building on an RDA
It might be. I have a few - all clones... Helios, plume veil, mutation x, tobh, patriot.. Just ordered some others on clearance n22, gauntlet, omerta, and the vault. The vault was the one I played with today and those post holes and screws are like a guillotine... They cut 24g kanthal like a scissors... They obviously need some sanding and smoothing.
All these drippers and I don't drip.

the omerta is prob the hardest build i ever tried/did.......my helios really works well on my vapor-shark and it's very easy to build, also if your doing a single coil w/it you can use the far pos post so you can center your coil (or make a larger coil) very easily.....

my helios is 23mm with 2 air-holes on one side only but it rocks, plus it does not leak at the bottom seam and if you have any RDA that slightly leaks at the seam you can use a piece of dental floss wrapped around the top o-ring and dab a touch of jooze on it and it will lay flat and seal the top-cap when you put it on.....i like the Cinnamon :D

edit: i appreciate the image pics, but it's all Greek too me, i'm lost i guess!
everything was perfect until the software change, i'm not gonna worry about it anymore.
