Has anyone here tried a titanium Clapton coil? And if so what was the wire gauges used? Think I'm gonna throw a few together later on tonight just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks.

I've been curious about trying a Ti Clapton coil for a long time but haven't done it yet. I'd be very interested in your experience. I have just about every gauge of Ti grade 1 wire available and should get off my .... and give it a go.

Put this on my Billow. Ti01, 26g, 7/6, 2MMid, slightly spaced came in at .12 ohms. Phenomenal vape at 475F, 40Joules.

That was before I fixed it up a little but I have never been so happy with a build. This thing has such amazing flavor I can't believe it. Gonna be throwing one in my Aeolus next.
What is the resistance of the single coil?

I posted a photo of my Ti clapton a while back. It worked flawlessly; the flavour was also amazing. However, I bought 24awg Ti to try dual coil on it so I had to remove it and haven't had the time to make a new on since. Unfortunately what Stealthvape wasn't Ti. TC wasn't working and I checked its resistivity and it didn't correspond to Ti. Unfortunately Rob from Stealthvape has been rather reluctant to help and I'm sending it back so he can check that he's wrong.
Anyone else has a good European supplier of Ti, which is decently annealed?

When you guys make the ti claptons how you keep the smaller gauge wire from springing
You gotta make sure your wraps are tight together and make sure you don't have springy titanium. When I used one of my other titanium wires that I knew was springy it was a little more difficult but still doable. What gauge wire you have and what kind of wire?

Have 22 26 28 30 gauge. Some is unakame or how ever spelled. The others cant remember have.to look but all seemed springy
Have you tried doing some just regular twisted builds with it? A couple of the wires I have are springy and when I twisted them they were much easier to work with. I've bought almost all my titanium on fasttech, I've bought just about every titanium on that site and found the couple brands that work very well and have little to no spring. If your interested let me know and I can tell you which wire I bought from them. I also got some from ring lord and that wire is good for twisting too.

This is what I want to try. Did you use Ti for your outer wire as well? I was planning to do a dual coil 24g Ti1 and 36g KA1 clapton build. I only have Titanium in 24g right now and the only wire I have small enough for an outer is Kanthal in the 36g. Did you program your own CSV or are you using a pre-programmed one in your DNA200 for it?

Yeah I used it for outer shell also. I was just being safe but I'm pretty sure you can use kanthal because it's going to follow the path of least resistance. I just made my first fused Clapton with kanthal so next up is titanium fused Clapton. And I just bought over 1000ft of all sorts of wires nevermind the 2000ft I already have. All my friends ask me for wire before they go to s vape shop because they know I most likely have it lol. Now I'm stocking up on odd gauge wires and lots of higher up gauges. My wife thinks I'm crazy, I'm starting to think I may be too.
