Now this sounds like just what I have been hoping for. Has anyone checked it for exact thickness.

I haven't verified the thickness of the wire I've received, but I've compared it to Kanthal and can see no difference in thickness like I've noticed with some of my other Grade 1 Ti wires. I'll make a note to test it out Monday in the lab (I work in the materials science/chemical field) and post up the results.

Well I got my Temco Ti and I am trying a 6 wrap 24awg 3mm coil. I couldn't get over how dull of a color it was. It's even duller then Unkamen but it seems smooth. Not sure if I like the 24 yet it's really stiff not springy. The resistance was right on at .19 but it seems to have a taste to it to me. It is really clean no black marks after wiping it with alcohol. Not sure if I like the 24 pretty warm for me. I will try the 26 tomorrow. It's like a real light grey color.

Thanks for the update. Springy is not what I was hoping for, got plenty of that. One of the reasons I like my 24 gauge Rio Grande Ti, I don't have to spend time annealing it. My Temco order should come soon. Oh well, at least it's from a trusted USA vendor, not overpriced G2 alloys.

Well it's another day and this Temco Ti seems really good today. I am using a little lower temp and Joules. Lots of vapor and tastes clean today. The 24 was a little hard to place with 6 wraps on my STM but I got it. Very easy to form and doesn't spring back. Like I say it doesn't look like any Ti I have gotten before. It's almost a white color like white with grey. It really holds its shape. I am running it now at 14J 410F Powerful+ which seems to heat it up fast. Not such a warm vape that way. I was really surprised getting 6 wraps of 24 on the STM but it holds its shape so well when you put a little bend in it stays. I like it. Think I was just tired last night.

Sounds good. Its grey and dull because its acid pickled. Sounds like its nicely annealed too!

I think you will like it. Definately not G2 the way it ohms out perfectly with SE better then Unk or CW just a funny color from what I'm used to but like I say don't know what process they use to make it or anneal it. I know the other wires they make are right on also.

my roll of 26 ga came today from temco. it's annealed for sure and very clean. it looks to have a smoother finish than the TA1 wire i have. maybe it won't gunk as much. very nice to work with, altho i've only ever coiled ti wire. i have a 9 wrap @2.5 mm in my stm waiting to go when i need to change tanks. it's easy to stretch to make a slightly spaced coil.

Yep it's definately nice to work with have you ever seen any that is the color or finish this is. That is what I was trying to explain even though it is dull it is smooth not rough like the acid washed stuff

It took me about half a tank before it didn't taste different but that could've been the KGD now after 2 tanks it is really good some of the best I have tried.

New cotton can tank a tank or more to break in. Titanium should have NO flavor, one of its many PLUSES!
