Natural Stonewall is distasteful to me. The wintergreen is okay, but the java is exceptionally good.

True story: Star Scientific sent some samples to my newspaper back in 2004. I tried it. Liked it. No one else took to the product, so I got lots of samples dumped on my desk.

I've used Stonewall daily since its beginning, when the press got those samples. I began weekly buying when my free samples ran out.

Of everything I do, its loss would be the hardest to take, athough I'm passionate about wanting my e-cigs and snus. My Stonewall pellets are my rock against returning to cigarettes. tobacco candy for kids, my patootie!

Wow.

Ladies asking about snus and snuff?
Lots of great tips and tricks?
Everyone civilized and helpful?
And yet, no one singing Kumbaya?

Heck, am I in the right forum?
Am I on the right planet?

:D

At first only men smoked tobacco, then us women started using it and they came out with "sexy cigs", aka Virginia Slims just for the ladies. (Ever see a man with a VS? Nope!) We were happy. Now we've caught on to your snus too, so watch out...designer snus boxes in the purse section of your local Walmart are on the horizon, along with flavors like strawberry daquarie, Starbucks Mocha Frappacino, and Diet Pepsi!

Ok, one can hope, right? :p

Those prices are more than the genuinetobacco site that Sheila posted. Just an FYI. I think the prices are almost double by the look of it.

Thanks Wild and Sheila! Unfortunately. I had made that first (and last!)
order from RYO before Sheila ever posted on here. Will definately be checking genuine out!

I get most of my supplies from my local tobacco shop. He has most of what I use, and even added ecigs after my inquiry back in January.

Thanks again!
Julie

The dissolvables and the snus are much easier to pack for on the road also!

Actually, I have seen 'men' with Virginia Slims. But they were carrying them in their bustier tops that they no doubt bought at Walmart...
:D

Now I'm going to go pop in a Discreet Strawberry Snus and have a Diet Pepsi...

:p

That's the only type of men that would smoke them ;-)

Hey, I got a bunch of Discreet snus today...Tom seems pretty awesome and even called to see how I liked them. Love those strawberry ones myself!

I've tried the Camel Snus that they handed out when I bought a pack of Camels. I like it, but want to try more.

I started to look online, but I get confused with all the brands and choices.

What would be a good recommendation to a starter. I'm looking for good flavor, and high enough nic to get me through a few hours.

Not sure if you'd want to keep the same piece in your mouth for a few hours, but from my limited useage (so far), I'd say the General Wintergreen White Portions might fit the bill. A ton of flavor and a pretty good nicotine amount (8mg per pouch).

I wish local places around here would carry all that stuff...but the only snus you can get in a store is the Camel. We're so deprived up here! :)

It said there's noplace within 25 miles from me, bummer! But I'm working on the stockpile...got 5 boxes of Stonewall Wintergreen, 3 cans of General Mini Mint, 5 cans of Camel Frost, and 6 other cans from a flavored sampler that all came here today...plus quite a few samples from Discreet Snus.

Well my curiousity got the best of me after reading this entire thread and I went to getsnus.com and ordered a 5-pack of the General Mini Mint (comes with a "mystery" can too). Even though I can vape as much as I want at work I don't like doing it in front of my clients and sometimes a client will take up a whole hour of my time and then I go on to the next where I get figity and frustrated that I need to reach for my ecig. That and sometimes I am just tired of having to schlep around liquids, pins, carts, kits nearly everywhere I go so I actually leave the my kit at home and then figit afterwards because I don't have it. Hope this stuff can cure that problem. The prices seemed pretty cheap so I didn't hesitate to order.

If it doesn't work or I don't like it then so be it. At 3 bucks and some change per can it's pretty damn cheap compared to spending ten plus or minus dollars on a small bottle of eliquid. Would be nice to alternate for a change. I'll let you all know how it works out when i get it and try it.

Welcome to California. In Florida, I buy General for $3.75 a can at a Tobacco Depot chain outlet.

P.S. Iggy, there is legislation that would prevent mail delivery of tobacco products and would force the seller to apply appropriate state taxes at the time of sale. That's too complicated and might shut down online ordering. There's a complicated bill, referenced in the Law section I believe, that passed the House already and is now up for Senate vote. It's like a companion piece to the Kennedy bill handing tobacco control over to the FDA.

Rexa, YES, that a girl! See that girls, TB of course we can't forget you.
We are recruiting members to our ladies snus club.
I think you're really gonna love the mini mint.

Sheilalynn, I can't stand Gotsborg Rape 1 or 2...but it is way popular. IMO it's like having a tea bag of Earl Grey in your mouth. I'm curious on your opinion though

TB by the first week of June I will likely have 200-300 cans of snus in my freezer and probably 1000 Stonewalls. I think that should keep me using for a good 3 years. lol

My snuff collection alone, will probably see me into my death bed, haha.

I've only heard of Discreet Snus but never seen it anywhere.
Where o where did you find it?

How do you like the Stonewall Wintergreen? As satisfying as a snus?

I actually went to the website and emailed them with a few questions and asked if they had any samples. Tom answered back and said he'd send me some, and they arrived yesterday. So far I've tried the strawberry and emerald ice, and they were both very good! There was no "burn" on the gums time like you usually get when you first pop a snus in your mouth. Unfortunately he has no places up here in NH that sell them yet, but we're working on it ;). Just ask him if there are any stores in your state that sell it...he can probably even tell you the price that they'll charge.

The Stonewall was as satisfying as a snus to me. They have 4mg of nicotine in them, which is the same as a General Mini Mint. So if those are enough nicotine for you, the Stonewall would be too. :)

Edit: Trying the Discreet peach flavor now...took a few minutes for the peach to come out, but it's a winner too!
