Just a heads up for the lady snusers here.

V2, the company that makes Thunder, Offroad, and other brands are going to introduce a new brand just for you.
Calling the new brand Fellinni, they should be available late this summer, or early fall.

For more info, you can read about it at SnusCentral (About half way down the article):

HOLY MOLY!!!

I got my Stonewalls today - I popped in a java, I've had to take it out TWICE now - this stuff is pretty darn strong! I can totally FEEL it

Don't have any of the java ones here, but I did buy a 5 pack of the wintergreen. A little strong tasting, but still goooooooooooooood :D

I keep getting this weird feeling that I have a LUMP in my chest/throat - after a few minutes of having one in my mouth - its just weird.

Anyone else have that happen!?
It goes away a few minutes after I take the stonewall out.

I get that with snus sometimes. It's annoying at the very least, but sometimes it's enough to make me almost gag. I think my throat doesn't like getting nicotine on it, which is why I try to swallow as little as possible, or have something to drink handy. Have you tried Ariva instead of Stonewall? Half the strength, maybe half the discomfort / grody taste? I like Stonewalls myself and they don't have any effect on my throat, thankfully.

Wild, I got my Java Stonewalls today too. I'm not having any of those problems with them.

I'm guessing if you have never tried snus or the Stonewalls, your body is just not use to that kind of nic yet. It should go away the more you use them.

My very first snus (General Wintergreen) put me in such a tranquil state, it put me to sleep...well it was fun while it lasted, as it never happened again.

Well I hope it doesn't last long, it almost feels like I swallowed something and it got stuck - you know when you take a pill and your throat is dry and that "lump" stays there... thats what it felt like. Except drinking something didn't help it go away - it went away on its own but a little while later.

I managed to go all afternoon without vaping! Which is good, I want to give up that habit now too - LOL.....
I'm just swopping one habit out for another. LOL

Or you can just cut a Stonewall in half...one package of Stonewalls is the same price as the Ariva so it would make sense to just cut one in half. It would be like getting 2 boxes of Ariva for the price of one ;-)

This is an excellent idea. Personally, the Stonewalls last toooooooo lonnngggg, lol. And they make my diet coke taste funky. I think I'm going to cut mine in half too. They do work really really well. I wasn't expecting that from a 4 banger:shock:

I got my General dry mini mints from getsnus.com last week and I finally got around to trying it while I went on vacation. I have to say "wow" it's potent stuff. I was really glad that I went with the mini mints. Felt like I had a bunch of tic tacs in my mouth which was quite refreshing. It took a few tries to really get used to them though. The first two portions i used I could only keep in my mouth for no more than 15 minutes. I still got quite a blast of nicotine from them and I had to becareful since I didn't time my vaping properly and I ended up overloading my body on nicotine. On the third day of using it, I felt a lot better and kept the portions in my mouth for exactly 30 minutes.

Very good stuff. I have a portion right now in my mouth at work since I have been busy with a lot of clients and have had no time to vape almost the whole day.

I get that with mini portions of snus, which have 4 mg nicotine, provided I am not sipping liquids when I first put it in. If I use a regular size portion, with 8 mg of nicotine, that lump turns into full on niccups. That's why I cut the Stonewalls in half and use itty-bitty pinches of the Roda Lacket loose.

TB by the first week of June I will likely have 200-300 cans of snus in my freezer and probably 1000 Stonewalls.

I was planning on stockpiling too, but I figured out last night I only need not quite 7 tobacco plants to make enough snus to get me through one year.

(1 can of mini portions every 5 days = 365/5 days = 73 tins of mini portions per year at 10 grams per tin = 730 grams snus per year/28 grams per ounce=26 ounces of tobacco/4 oz dried leaf per tobacco plant = 6 1/2 tobacco plants per year.)

I agree on the potency...makes me believe I was getting far less nic with the ecig than I even thought. Kinda wish I had just tried laying it all down then (after 4 months no cigs and before snus), prolly would have been much easier.

Oh well...back to the ol' ball and chain! Not trying to be negative, and I'm still so thankful I'm not smoking the nasties! Just something others may want to consider trying before trying or getting used to the snus/stonewall's.

Thanks!

I think it is smart to NOT put all of one's eggs in one basket when giving up analogs. Why rely on one thing only to leave analogs? Mix it up. Vape, use Stonewalls or Arivas, use snus. Hell, have as many options as you can find.

I agree with you..any or all..anything to stay off analogs! And I'm not saying anything against snus or stonewalls, I love em'!

Just saying for others like me who may have had several months off analogs, using only ecigs who desire to get off of everything eventually. I believe it most likely would be easier to quit (everything), coming off ecigs only, due to less nicotene, I believe we are getting from the ecigs only.

Thanks,
Julie

I agree 100%, because you can lower the nic levels in the e-liquids over time, making it quite easy to wean oneself off of nicotine completely (even though I have no plans of ever leaving nicotine.)

One of the methods of quitting analogs and eventually nicotine itself, which I read about online, written by two former employees of Big Tobacco, laid out a plan to gradually, over time, switch brands of analogs, such that each brand switch left the smoker with lower nic level analogs. They claimed this was the best method and easiest method to quit analogs and nicotine. The exact same principle can be used when mixing e-liquids, except you have far more control over both nic level AND flavor.
