Strictly PG, Im too scared to try VG...I've never had hot flashes before and Im only 32 so I doubt its MP related ..![]()
Why scared??? Do you mean of the taste? I'm trying to find a formula to cut the harshness of the PG without tasting the VG....hehe.

I've had no side effects with the exception of clear sinuses, I vape 36mg liquid uncut all day every day
IF the temperature and the atomizers reach over 280 degrees (which someone on here said they did test them at that degree) and glycerin decomposes into acrolein at 280 degrees. Acrolein is toxic, causing damage to the lungs and could cause death. Breathing lower amounts may cause eye watering and burning of the nose and throat and a decreased breathing rate; these effects usually disappear after exposure stops.
Animal studies show that breathing acrolein causes irritation to the nasal cavity, lowered breathing rate, and damage to the lining of the lungs.
do you use VG? I have a bottle here and I was thinking of mixing it with some water to try it b/c the PG makes me feel wierd.. I guess the acrolein thing isn't too scarey if its found in cigarettes already..
I think I'm sensitive to PG, as it is one of the ingredients in perfumes and I'm sensitive to perfumes. I'm trying to switch to dripping carts and using a non PG liquid, but I don't know which e cig to switch to. I've been having trouble getting enough vapor from my kiss box and have a new atomizer on the way to see if that is my problem since it's brand new.
I love the amount of vapor I get from my Red Dragon e cig but I'm pretty sure I'm reacting to their cartridges, which only come with PG. I heard I could drip them to refill, but I don't know how many times I can do that before they fritz out since the atomizer is part of the cartridge and intended to be thrown away after use.
I don't know that model, but I get the impression the atomizers usually outlast all other components in disposables - they don't engineer them to be crappier than regular atomizers, so I've heard of disposables being refilled until the battery dies, and then wired up to new power, and vaped on some before the atomizer finally expires. Vape it till it dies, that's the best advice.
Rather than dripping, can you rinse out the cart and refill it?
I really love not feeling short of breath, having nasty phlegm, and not worrying about how I smell.
Here's where I learned how to refill them, afaik you can't take them apart without trashing the wire and ruining it. Would rinsing it hurt it? I figure it's only good for so many fills before it's toast. It would be cool if they sold them empty so you could fill them yourself since they don't make a non-PG version.
I don't have enough posts to post a link and it won't let me give you the url even with breaks in it. it's Leaford's electronic cigarette reviews 6311, red dragon review 2, post 100829![]()
you can pop them off by poking something in the hole. I've been using the end of an empty refillable pencil or a pointy tweezer. After a few fills the paper cover starts to look a little rough, but otherwise no worries so far.
It kind of looks like the wire is looped through it somehow in the middle, like the whole think might come apart if I try to take out the stuffing, but I'm going to sacrifice one and see what happens when I try to pull it out.Good, then you should be able to swill out the PG-based juice. If the stuffing's not glued in, you can pull it out and run it under the tap, and then squeeze it in a bit of tissue to dry it out before refilling with the VG.
Make sure the atomizer's dry before you use it again - best to put it in a warm place overnight just to get rid of any residual water.
