I have never been able to drink decaffeinated coffee. Even though I understand logically and rationally that the methylene chloride is not present in the final product, I see "decaffeinated" and all I can think is "PAINT STRIPPER"! It is amazing how much power our subconscious minds can have over us. (Nice info Rosa .... sorry for being OT)

There are other processes to produce decaf too... including efforts to cultivate of a caffeine-free coffee bean... that's just not right! Decaffeination - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

all of those ways to decaf sound yummy dont they......i find it ironic that we can use all those chemicals to decaf drinks and the fda is fine with it. however they are not ok with us vaping.... lol can u say brain cramp

i think the FDA is just "jealous" that the ecigarette was invented in China and doesn't want more of the economy to be going to China. that's the only logical explanation i can think of. Do you think it would be banned if it was invented here in the US? Nope, FDA's got some beef(haha get it) with products from other countries regardless of how good they are.

Anyhoo whats wrong with caffeine? I drink 287 expressos a day and I'm fine!

good info I printed some of it to show my mom she's been vaping for 3 weeks after being a smoker for 50 years. I've been vaping a month and 3 weeks after being a smoker 25 years and since of taste and smell is now returning

I copied the CSAA pamphlet. My doctor will love that one. He put Ecig pamphlets in his waiting room after I demonstrated mine and left him some printed information and links when I started vaping.

Great points made all around! A lotta doctors don't know about this, may not want to know or feel they shouldn't have to, or are getting skewed info. I have heard of studies being made on vaping's long-term effects and am very eager to see those results. Something concrete you can just throw at em.
