Usernames...what made you pick yours?

I'm a big fan of a science fiction novel series called "Faction Paradox" by Lawrence Miles. It's all about a war between several groups of people (and others) with time travel capabilities, and the Investigators are like the recon units through time and alternate dimensions. A few Investigators go rogue and do their own thing though, and I figured, all in all, that'd probably be me.

Mine is not particularly clever. I have always loved horses, ever since I was a very little girl and have been around them all my life. I currently have five horses. If it becomes six, I will need to change my name to RecentlySingle!!! Great question and thread.

My user name is part of my name backwards. Now I am sure you all have heard my name many times on T.V. in the newspapers, it is associated with BP., however no relation as far as I know.

I don't know where the hell Mistress came from, but Nomad is... well, me. I've moved about 50 times on 3 continents in the last 3 years. I lived in a small suitcase and hosteled and flat shared and couch surfed... and squatted a few times as well.
Got tired of the lifestyle, so I've just come back to my hometown now and I am trying DESPERATELY to hunker down and plant my .... here for a year, and then I may be moving somewhere else. But... one year. In one place. I can do it.

That mod saved me bunches of $$$...we used to go to old town in Kissimmee for the car shows. A small Jack and coke was over $5. A large coke was less than $2. Take coke, go to truck, hit button, Large Jack and coke...priceless

Mine is my real first and middle name. The only time I ever heard them combined was when I was in trouble. As long as Mom called me Lynda, things were cool but when I heard Lyndagayle, I knew I was caught. Since I have a tendency to be a non conformist (unless I believe in the cause), full of mischief and a bit of a rebel, I think it fits.

I picked mine when I had 30 years with IBM (we used to call IBM Big Blue).... that was a few years ago.
