I thought about this same question. I don't care if I ever quit vaping, and havn't really thought quiting . As long as I am not smoking on death sticks any more idc. After a month I felt 10x better than before. Physically and mentally, knowing I can beat the hardest addiction out there.

As long as it cost me $20 a month , only buying juice and the occasional atty replacement once a month, $1 at my local, I am happy. I am getting healthier and saving money at the same time, yet still doing the same thing I like.

(Because most people do not quit because they CAN'T, rather than they do not want to because it became something that they enjoyed.) The thing is, if my battery dies on the go or i forgot juice or whatever, I dont even think about analogs. I turned liking SMOKING into liking VAPING instead.

In just over 4 months I have dropped from 18mg to 4mg by DIYing my own juice. Each 30ml bottle 1mg less than the last. By the end of the year I should be at zero. I have no intention of quitting vaping although I may get to a point where I don't doing everyday. But I enjoyed smoking and I enjoy vaping so I will continue indefinitely.

I quit smoking and haven't thought much about quitting vaping. I have slowed down some. I suppose I could if I wanted to but I just don't want to at this time. I'm not that brave and I feel I would fail and end up back on analogs at the very worse. Ok after typing this I can actually say no I don't wanna quit vaping cuz' I know I'll fail so it's not time for me to even consider it. Not sure if there will be a time. I spent 33 yrs smoking cigarettes so I'm in no rush to quit vaping.

There are several members here who have quit vaping.

Some still hang out here due to having friends.

There are many others who have quit, and sold all their gear in the classies. A few had new babies and such, some are still here, others check in every so often, some we don't see again.

I enjoy vaping but my aim is to eventually quit. More freedom and not spending $$ will be nice, I will use that $$ to go on mini vacations instead. :)

^^^ This is why I don't want to get into it as a big hobby, where I'm buying all the newest and latest gadgets. I want to find something that is reliable, works great, and keeps me from smoking, cutting down my $200/mo expenditure to no more than $50/month, and use that spare money to go on trips/vacations. I started vaping to save money, completely quitting was an unexpected bonus.

Does anyone ever quit vaping after using it to quit smoking or do most just switch habits?

I am not saying that vaping is bad or that anyone should or has to quit, just curious.

I look at it as a different delivery system to my addiction to nicotine. I'm okay with my nicotine addiction, in the short term. Long term, I haven't decided if I'm going to quit. I'm not worried about it. To me it's the same as the caffeine I drink in coffee.

Like the others above I do not plan on quitting vaping..
But some do. Many use vaping as a step to get off of analogs and then lesson their nic intake and quit.
Nothing wrong with that.

I just started vaping, but couldn't stop smoking. I'm a week in and last night I noticed I didn't want a cig as much for some reason. Today they're starting to taste icky. :)

I don't think I'll ever give vaping up.

SO much more freedom on what you want to smoke, than you ever would have smoking analogs. All the choices you can make gives you a more fulfilling vaping experience, as you can try tons of stuff and see what you like and don't like.

I don't even think about analogs anymore.
