Ok, I have been reading this forum for approx 7 hrs straight.
I intend to purchase a E cigg today online. Tired of smoking and have no desire to go thru the withdrawals like the last time.
When I purchase something I am not familiar with I go to forums and find the general consensus and purchase based on that.
I don't seem to be able to find a consensus and I had absolutely no Idea there were so many options.

I am looking for something effective, Meaning similar to a analogue, (strange name) In draw and taste, I smoke winston light shorts. I would also like it to look like a analogue, not a tube of lipstick. lol

I am willing to spend about 100-150 including extra items such as cartomizers etc.

Each time I think i have found one I seem to find a reason not to purchase.

Items I have looked at, The smokestick Royale, ( are their several different models of this? rn4081?)

The Kr808 the joye 510 and the elegant, I am leaning toward the royale.

I dont really want anything fat or really long about the size of wot I smoke now but the 808 and 510 seem to be recommended by the forum members.

I just want it to work well be reliable and assist in my goal of not smoking anymore. and a battery life that is longer than four - five hours. I do not wish to purchase several I would rather do it right the first time so to say. Been a very frustrating few hours. alien terminology.

Any assistance would be appreciated thank you :)

If you want an automatic battery, do 808 from vapor4life.com...If you want versitility and ability to upgrade, do a 510 manual from cignot.com. The 510 auto battery is NOT recommended, nor the 180 mah battery for 510. Get the mega at 280 mah manual battery.. But both are good option, and you'll most likely own both eventually anyhow. ;)

Oh, If you hear the word EGO posted below me..just ignore.

I just started vaping about a week ago. I bought one from evovapor.com and have been very impressed with the unit so far. It has very good vapor production and the flavors I have tried have been very god so far (have tried the menthol and the strawberry). It also seems to stack up very well with other models I have looked at as far as the specs go. I, like you, spent countless hours reading through all this stuff on the forums and I became more confused about what to buy with each passing hour. I ended up buying from Evo Vapor and have not regretted it for a minute. As far as battery life, I would say that I have been getting 6-8 hours per charge. The Starter kit comes with 6 cartomizers, 2 batteries(which is fantastic because when one dies you just grab the spare and charge the first one), a wall charger, and a usb charger.

Simple physics will give you a limit to size and energy density. Or, if you go small, you will have to recharge more.

To get good battery life, you will have to go bigger, and you do not seem to be open to that idea. The nice thing about a 4081 is that the cart lasts about as long as the battery, no where near 4-5 hours except for very very light vapors.

None are going to draw like a cig and if you try to vape them like you smoke, you will most likely be coughing horribly. So if drawing exactly like a cig is a huge deal for you, then this may not be a good idea for you at this point in time.

So there are benefits and drawbacks to each direction, so make sure you know which ones you are willing to give up and which are absolute requirements. You can't have it all.

The premium kit from evovapor.com seems reasonable...only downside is no wrap on the carto's, and steel in your lips is a bit unattractive. But good look, and price is right....No color options either...kit looks solid, but Id check V4L before deciding. Dont miss out on a cool color if that might help you in the transition.

The KR808 would be a good starter kit, with a large range of vendors for cartos and batteries.

Most of the confusion you see in various threads is simply because there are so many competing
styles, voltages, equipment in general, each has good and bad points. And everyone has their
own personal favorite. Each variation will have a little different production of vapor, flavor, TH,
ease of use, etc... vaping is something that can be very personilized.

That said, it's a GREAT way to drop the analogs!!

Smokestik is RN4081 and would probably cost less as you bought it as that. It has some fans.

Smokestik is a ripoff on prefilled cartos at $19.95 for 5 but it's not the most popular cartomizer model so you may have to pay more for prefilled cartos (which BTW do not last as long as pack of cigarettes)

The problem is that "looks like an analog" and long battery life are, for all intents and purposes, mutually exclusive features.

Admittedly, I don't have hands-on experience with every analog-style e-cig out there. But, from what I do know, and from anecdotal reports, you're not likely to get that kind of battery life from that style of e-cig unless you're a very, very light smoker/vaper.

Otherwise, you're going to need to have 3 or 4 batteries on-hand, and you'll be repeatedly rotating them in and out of a charger.

It's entirely possible that someone will jump in here and refute what I'm saying. But, from what I know, you're staring down the barrel of a necessary trade off: Either you get an e-cig that doesn't quite look like an analog, or you resign yourself to using 3 or 4 batteries and keeping them charged and ready.

If you want a cig-sized ecig, be prepared to charge batteries all the time. And I mean all the time, especially as a pack a day smoker.

My ego works awesome. Maybe pick up some 900mah batts to go with it, and some LR 306 attys and a 306 drip tip for dripping. I like the bogge cartos the best. they are the easiest to fill, and in my opinion offer the best flavor. I am going to try some lr ones if I can get them.

Liberty Flights has some of the best deals. look for the save 20%

I third the VaporKing (808) from Vapor4Life. It was my first purchase and more than six months in, I'm still loving it.

I've since gotten four family members on it and they all love it because it's closest the analog and easiest to use.

I started with automatic and now am using manual batteries. It takes some getting used to at first, definitely not like smoking a cigarette but it's very enjoyable once you get the hang of it. The closest way I can explain to learn how to use it is to pull a puff into your mouth, THEN inhale it like a cigarette. The manuals are much easier for that method because you can just turn it on instead of "priming" it.

+1

This is the absolute truth. I'm sure the reason that you came to the forum is because you want a straight answer without a bunch of fake reviews and gimmicks. You want the real truth from real people. Here's the real truth:

*e-cigs CAN satisfy your cigarette cravings, even if you DON'T want to quit (a lot of us didn't want to quit, including me).
*e-cigs are not like smoking, but similar enough.... and many say it's even better than smoking.
*you physically CAN'T have an e-cig that's relative in size to a cigarette and lasts more than about 3-4 hours tops - it's against the laws of physics as humans have been able to interpret as of yet.
*you will have to choose: size OR convenience of battery life.

However: you CAN get ones that are relatively small, easy to use, and come with a cigarette case called a "personal charging case" that allows you to re-charge your dead batteries when you are out of the house.

What I recommend for you is a Kr808D-1 with a Personal charging case.

Now, as for e-liquids: Nothing taste like a cigarette except for burning plant matter, but there are flavors that are WAY better than that and yet they somehow still taste like a cigarette to me. Imagine if cigarettes went to heaven and became the ultimate cigarette, flavorful, aromatic, just plain yummy... that's e-cigarettes. E-cigs are like everything that regular smokes wish they could be.

If you try a bunch of tobacco juices you will find ones that satisfy you not just in nicotine but also in TH and a comforting familiar aroma. (be sure to let your nose get some of the vapor). it took me 2 months to get past being satisfied only by tobacco vapes. Now I vape mostly BWB Vanilla and a bit of my old all-day vape, Backwoods Brew Casablanca.

One thing - Smokestik may have auto batteries only. I think most people here recommend manual batteries - less work, more consistent hit.

I also know nothing about filling RN4081 cartos but you can buy blanks at AZSMokeFree.com (as well as other Rn4081 parts, including I think a manual battery)

One thing RN4081 has going for it is 200-200mah battery life in a ~100mm length (I think). KR808D-1 in the same length (its shorty batteries) is 180mah. KR808D-1 (Vaporleaf.com LiteCigUSA.net and in colors aka VaporKing at Vapor4Life where the most prefilled cartos are) is the more popular cartomizer unit and is available with manual batteries. KR8 is also fatter than a cigarette. And I recommend the PCC for charging on the go.

I started on KR8 shorty batteries then bought some standards for the battery life. The unit is 120mm long with standard batteries. If you happen to decide on KR8 and want plain white batteries with red led, you might want to get the a plain KR808D-1 kit in white which I think will have red or orange leds. Vapor4Life usually has random color leds but you could ask them about their plain white batteries.
