Yeah but the problem is if peeps are saying vs is saying that they don't know when the magnetic version is going to be released vs should be saying that via email and fb and telling folks to expect a call if they ordered a magnituc.

I agree with this. The last FB post that I saw was addressing all preorders, regardless of version. They did remove the magnetic option from their website, but still have pics of it and it's on the specs of the unit, at least yesterday it was.

I think they are way to overwhelmed right now with the amount of pre-orders of the dna and the pain of dealing with unexpected delays, 3 times now.

I am positive they've never had this much volume of sales and customer service cases the entire time they've been in business.

I just got off the phone with VS, They switched my order from magnetic to regular. Will ship out this weekend.

IMO they are doing every thing they can to help their customers receive their DAN mod

I'm sorry you've had a bad service experience from VS, that is unfortunate. I hope you end up with a DNA30 soon as I know this is a pain. I ordered mine on 2/6 and got a call yesterday, let it go to voicemail since I didn't recognize the number. After checking the voicemail, which was very well spoken and descriptive, I called back and got the same guy that left me the voicemail. No huss, no fuss, quick and painless, issued my credit for the cable while I was on the phone, and told me to expect a shipment confirmation today for the gunmetal usb.

Ill probably still end up with this so long it doesnt get pushed back farther than this weekend. The girl on the phone told me several times not to expect it to get shipped this weekend. Said they got some in but not enough to fill all the orders that occurred when the promise was still the 15th. Im super glad to see a lot of you guys are getting worked out nice and easy.

The lack of effective communication with people who pre-ordered is really really disheartening. I still haven't decided whether or not to cancel my order, but regardless... I think I will no longer be a VS customer. Customer service is usually what keeps me as a customer.

Well in a happier but strange twist to my story, after being told dont expect it to ship by the 15th and me telling her to cancel my order and refund my money if it doesnt ship by the weekend, well, I just got a tracking number lol. Wow. Im thrilled of course, but how weird was that. Not sure what to say other than I hope you all get yours shipped very soon also. Not sure what exactly happened there. No refund as of yet for my extra magnetic cable however. Not gonna worry about that just yet though. Ill give them some time to figure that out.

New Update from VS:

"It seems there has been some confusion as to the shipping date of our DNAs. All pre-orders placed after March 5th will ship 3/25 or earlier. This means, if you placed your pre-order before March 5th, the updated shipping date of March 15th applies. We apologize for the confusion and want to get these out just as badly as you want to receive them.

The delays have been due to factors out of our control. The issue that existed with the 510 connection is now solved. However, there have been major delays in receiving the DNA30Ds from Evolv. For this reason we are not accepting new orders until we get firm delivery dates on the boards.

We stand by our products and cannot in good conscience sell products that don’t pass our quality control standards. The Magnetic Charging System has not yet been perfected. Therefore the Vapor Shark DNA is only available in the Micro USB version. You have the option of gun metal or black. If you would like a refund or need a partial refund for any additional charging cables, please contact us at 855 827 3669."

I'd say there just busy I called yesterday and got the voicemail too. But I cAlled today right after they opened this morning and they answered first thing and switched my order. I actually just got an email with a tracking number. So I would keep calling. Good luck.

Glad to hear it! It sounds liked a ...... off employee that you got on the phone there. I just checked VaporShark.com and my order shows complete, shows the refund for tha cable, but doesn't have a tracking number yet. They told me by 5pm, they have an hour left! Not stressing it, just excited.

And yeah, I noticed they changed the DNA from pre-order to sold out. I wonder how many units they sold total on this batch.

Just like everyone else I'm excited and anxious to receive my Vapor Shark DNA. I pre-ordered mine on Feb. 9 and went thru all the delayed shipping notices. The bad part is I had to learn all of the delays via Facebook, ECF, or word of mouth. Not acceptable in my opinion. I did call Vapor Shark today after learning that the magnetic versions will not ship. The rep that I talked to did convert my order to a gun metal usb version so it would ship today and also refunded the extra magnetic cord I ordered. I have received a tracking number and will be keeping an eye on it. Just giving my 2 cents

I just canceled my order, the whole thing was poorly handled, ship dates slipping multiple times with no information, this is simply not the way to handle customer service. IF the magnetic charger version ever sees the light of day and there is positive feedback on the forums I might reorder....IF.

Unfortunately that seems to be the case with a good portion of the vaping industry lately.

The only thing that caused me not to get madder was them calling me. I hope they've learned that communication is key. And as someone said this is way better than the fiasco of trying to get a zna from ENS right now.

I'm a little perplexed that VS is only offering the Gunmetal USB version is there an issue with the Black version? Here in the UK there was no option for the colour and reading the posts I pre ordered in January and don't expect it anytime this month! US customers think yourself fortunate, it would of been way less trouble buying a DNA board and making one it's not like making a mod is rocket science.

I'll probably get mine in by next weekend since I'm in Hawaii. First class tends to take 4-5 days at the very least. Got my new RDA all primed and ready to go though
