Well... Haven't gotten contacted and I'm still waiting on shipping info BUT... the VS website has ben updated again! The new message states:

"All dna orders placed after March 5th will ship 3/25 or earlier."

I ordered on 2/18 (black, USB)... I wonder when mine will be shipping?

Just placed my order a few days ago after debating for about a week. Kind of bummed I have to wait an extra ten days but I guess I can't complain when some of you have waited since February. Im not a huge fan of the way they are doing things, but it seems to be the standard when it comes to anything dna related.

He also got the date wrong for Friday! Im getting impatient! Shouldve went with Hana!

I just hung up with a rep at VaporShark, apparently they ran into some reliability issues with the magnetic charge system, so they are backing out of it for now and redesigning it, offering people a refund or changing to the micro usb. They have a batch of gunmetal in house now, and are expecting a batch of the black on Friday. I opted to get a credit on my extra cable and changed to the gunmetal usb version, and he assured me that it would ship tomorrow and I would get a tracking number by 5pm.

Long story short, mag version no ETA, back to the drawing board.

Ordered mine late January to the UK not expecting it before April.

I wonder if the build quality will be like a Vamo and after the wait how quick these will be sold or traded by us who have had to wait?

If the build quality of the new one is better than the old one (I like the old one myself) I don't think people will be selling/trading it off that fast. It's a great little stealthy device with plenty of power. I love mine. Here's an older pic I posted a while back showing how small it is. Personally I like the look of it with a kayfun topper. Oh and what's wrong with a Vamo? I've got a V2 I've had for a long time that still gets daily use. The chrome plated brass is bullet proof. And besides, it looks great with an AGR+ carto tank sitting on it. I loves me some carto goodness!

Nice.. Good to see that they fixed the 510 wobble. That was my biggest complaint with vs20. I never went pass 9 watts tho, so not sure If I will ever pick up a dna30.
Not sure why he's comparing this to the brick house vtr..

I ordered a black magnetic 2/05. Got the phone call yesterday, but was already on a call at work, so let it go to voicemail. They left a message offering the gunmetal usb version. Tried to call back several times during the afternoon, but kept getting their voicemail. SO I sent them an e-mail saying I'd happily switch. Waiting to see what happens. Might call them again today.

The guy basically said they had no date for the magnetic.

Nice. The gunmetal looks really nice there. I may end up happy I switched.

Looks like the magnetic versions aren't shipping anytime soon anyway.

On the negative side, my tracking number from Monday still doesn't even show received by USPS.

Just got off the phone with VS, was told that they are cancelling the magnetic ones for now. I opted for the black USB which they said will be shipping out this weekend. I was about to cancel and order Hana instead from ssvapes, but wait time is now 6-8 weeks! I also saw the new VS DNA30 vid and still like how it looks better than Hana.

I just dont understand. Didnt they test the magnetic connection for at least 6 months to a year before opening a preorder for the thing? It almost sounds like they made them and then decided it isnt reliable. Plus, when this first delay happened they made no mention of a problem with the magnetic connection, the problem was with the 510. Ug!

So I have not heard from them yet, they have not cancelled my order yet. I never got any info about this free bottle of juice either. Where do I have to go to claim that, anyone know? If I didnt have to essentially start my wait over I would go get a Hana. Maybe I should just get a ZNA if I can find one. Something tells me Ill end up with this though, just because it should be soon. I really hope they get mine out on or before 3/15 and not just send electronic shipping info received.

The first delay didnt bother me a bit, but now this magnetic issue and still not being able to tell me they can keep to this 15th date even after Ive switched to USB has got me a little perturbed.

I just canceled my order, the whole thing was poorly handled, ship dates slipping multiple times with no information, this is simply not the way to handle customer service. IF the magnetic charger version ever sees the light of day and there is positive feedback on the forums I might reorder....IF.

I just got off the phone with VS, They switched my order from magnetic to regular. Will ship out this weekend.

IMO they are doing every thing they can to help their customers receive their DAN Mod

Yeah but the problem is if peeps are saying vs is saying that they don't know when the magnetic version is going to be released vs should be saying that via email and fb and telling folks to expect a call if they ordered a magnetic.

I'm sorry you've had a bad service experience from VS, that is unfortunate. I hope you end up with a DNA30 soon as I know this is a pain. I ordered mine on 2/6 and got a call yesterday, let it go to voicemail since I didn't recognize the number. After checking the voicemail, which was very well spoken and descriptive, I called back and got the same guy that left me the voicemail. No huss, no fuss, quick and painless, issued my credit for the cable while I was on the phone, and told me to expect a shipment confirmation today for the gunmetal usb.
