I ordered on April 9th and mine shipped today, scheduled for delivery on the 25th. Can't wait for my 20w version to have a big brother.
Well it has been a long process, mostly because it has been low a low priority for me, but I think I am ready to call it done and put the guts back in.

As you can see, I removed all raised parts of the metal case, I wanted a smooth even finish.
I am probably going to get some polishing compound and make it a little more shiny, but I am ready to be done with this little project.

I tried to order a Vapor Shark DNA, but their payment processor kept rejecting my Canadian Visa credit card, giving an error that my address didn't match the address on my Visa card.. I tried multiple times and kept getting this error so I called them and they told me that I could send the money via a wire-transfer from my bank.
So I walked in to the bank and what a hassle (TD CanadaTrust).. They wanted two forms of ID, Proof of my address. etc. etc. Then they started warning me that I might lose my money and never get it back. I was thinking "What the hell, wire transfers have been around forever". So I followed all the instructions that Vapor Shark gave me, their bank, account number information etc. Signed the documents, paid an additional $30 bucks on top of the cost of the device for wire-transfer fees.
And now we're about 2 weeks later and Vapor Shark still hasn't received the payment as far as I'm aware. I think I'm out the nearly CND$300 dollars. I'm so ...... and annoyed... How can a wire-transfer take more than a few days? What do they wrap wire around some cash money, throw it in a box and send it slow-boat from china? I thought the point of a wire-transfer was that it was send electronically, as in, at the very least, via some kind of fax technology. These days it should be instantly.
Great
I just did the same thing yesterday
However I work for the bank that the wire was sent from
Jeez , 2014 and this is the only way to get payment to vaporshark??
We will see what happens , free shipping would be nice to compensate wire fees. I didn't have to pay because I work at the bank ,but still
Cheers
Can you find out if we can track the wire-transfer? It seems completely idiotic that in this day and age that every single financial transaction doesn't have a paper trail.
When I tried to send the wire-transfer at TD, they wanted the address of the business as well as the address of the bank, but VaporShark only sent the bank address in their instructions. So while standing at the teller in the bank I called VaporShark's 1-800 number and they gave me their address as well. I'm wondering if they gave me the wrong address and this has screwed me... Did you have the same issue?
I went into my TD branch and the manager is going to track the transfer through the wire clearing house, (I think that's what he called it). And give me a call back probably tomorrow.
This effing VaporShark DNA just cost me another CND$20 dollars though.. Got a damned parking ticket while I was standing there, the manager wouldn't stop telling me stories of wire-transfers. Argh!?!!*#@&#@

It depends how much you vape. I tend to run between 10 and 12 watts and it won't last me a full day if I'm running it as my only device without a bit of top-off charge at some point. If you vape @ 12w or less, this thing will easily last you a full day.

I run 30ga micro-coils at 1.5 ohms in my spheroids at 11-12W, and I have to charge it after work or it's dead by 8:00pm. Still, great battery life for 1200mAh, and I'm either in the car or near a computer for most of the day, so charging is not an issue.
