What he said.. I got the shipping confirmation two days ago, but nothing has actually been received by the post office yet.

Maybe you should shoot VS an email, or give 'em a call... find out if there is actually a package out there. Maybe someone started to package it, noticed something wrong, and pulled the shipment, called manufacturer and BOOM!... delays for a few more weeks.

(IMHO... if any of the above is even close to the truth... then someone at VS is paying attention, and whoever that quality control person was should get a raise. :) )

Schedules slip and delays happen; that's a fact of life. It's certainly happened in my business, and every time it has, I've thanked my lucky stars that I've never take any pre-orders. :D

I completely understand this and I'm not holding VS at fault. I just want my new toy and waiting on vape mail can be a little nerve racking, specialy on a big purchase. As long as I receive my DNA30 in perfect working order I'll be happy. I have enough toys to keep me vaping happy till then.

Did everyone who pre-ordered get the email about the delay a little while ago? Seems like the assumptions are correct. They got the shipment, started the process, found some bad 510 connectors and stopped the shipping.

I'm less upset now... I'd much rather have a working product from day one, they have them ship me crap and then have to deal with the returns, etc.

(Plus... in their delay email there's a coupon code for free juice!)

Well, VaporShark just posted on FaceBook that they sent all the units back to the manufacturer since it didn't meet their seal of approval. They were very disapointed with the 510 connector, which was one of the improvements that they claim to have work the hardest on. Very glad to see this kind of attention to quality and high standards. I much rather wait a couple of extra weeks and get what I paid for that get something subpar quicker.

Good for you Vapor Shark, and good for us consumers

Just got the same email. Same thing that was posted on Facebook. I'm glad they're communicating on this, and if they weren't happy with the 510 connection, I'm sure none of us would have been either. I'd much rather wait for them to get it right.

The free bottle of juice with free shipping is a nice consolation, and they also offer in the same email to cancel pre-orders and give full refunds, which is good business.

We completely understand how frustrating it is to prepay for a product only to have the delivery time pushed back. We are so excited to unveil the DNA 30 and all of its improved features, and are very disappointed that we were unable to stick to the initial shipping time.

In an effort to ensure superior functionality and aesthetics, we have taken your suggestions on ways to improve upon the DNA 20. We’ve worked closely with our manufacturers to incorporate solutions to your critiques.

I wonder what happned. Im sure they must have had a fully completed pre production unit with the exact same 510 connection. I would hope to assume they have been testing these new improvements for quite some time now. It is what it is, just gotta be patient. The consolidation for me is that my wifes sister is currently in the Philipenes and she picked me up a Chronus. They are cheap over there comparitavely, only $149 after conversion back to US dollars as opposed to the $220 my local shop is asking. So Ill be entertained until my DNA30 arrives :)
