I am really debating getting the new VS. I like the compact size, but I think they just went too small. I'd rather have a larger battery (user replaceable 18650 would be even better) and a slightly larger form factor that didn't make every rda/rba on it look enormous. I will probably still get it, but I just feel they could have done better.

I remember a time when 1200 mAh was considered a heck of a lot of battery life. I get through a workday with one 18350 (750 mAh); it's usually just about dead when I'm leaving the shop, so I figure it should at least get me there. Then I'm in the car where it's easy to charge USB, so I think it's going to be just about right for me.

But, they apparently never shipped my VS and they're feeding me a line about the mailman not scanning it. It's been four days and tracking is still at electronic info received. It never shipped. So now I'm hoping I get one of the "3/15" delivery units they've been promising. I'm not holding my breath at this point.

It just fits the niche of the smaller the better crowd regardless of battery life. Honestly it sounds like you are really looking for a different mod. Nothing wrong with that. This thing is just kinda pigeon holed for a specific user. If they had gone bigger I wouldn't be interested as much myself.

What you are talking about sounds like the ZNA. Personally I would like to see smaller, sleeker RBAs on the market to match these smaller mods. Not everybody needs 4.5ml+ capacity.

We need a Kayfun type rebuildable in about 19mm. I would be happy with a 2.5-3ml capacity if they can make that happen. I know, there's the Kayfun mini, if you can get one, but it is about the same diameter of an ego, too thin in my opinion, I would be OK with 17mm to also use in 14500 mods, but about the same length of the KFL.

There already are devices in the niche I am looking for, the problem is that the VS does it at a very competitive price point. I mean a VS for 160 vs a Hana for 250? Let's be serious, I don't care what hardware went into it but there is no way that price is not without some serious markup. Maybe it's all in the small scale handbuilding vs "mass produced", who knows. Right now I can't really imagine carrying around anything smaller than my MVP2, but maybe I'd like it more once I am holding it.

Yes! I love the dimensions of my Aerotank (18.5mm) so a kayfun in a similar size would rock. Like you said the Kayfun mini is too thin and more importantly too tall.

Closest thing I know of approaching that size is the GG Penelope series, which is 17mm ID. The newest v3 is R-wire only, FWIW, and microcoil-friendly.

I think we need to start a petition for Svomesto to make us some.

Now is a good time to get this going. Svoemesto likes to know and respond to the desires of the market, and they just discontinued the KF Mini 2.1, which they do before they release a new version. If he knows there is demand, he likely will consider making a device based on these specs.

Well whoever makes the Russian 91% decided to make this,

So if they can be convinced to make that humongous tank for that particular niche market, maybe they can be convinced to manufacture one in 19mm. Don't know how much luck we would have with SvoeMesto since they apparently discontinued the Kayfun Mini due to low demand.

Kebo is who makes the Russian, I saw that huge one, it's ridiculous IMO, of course, if I liked 26650 mods, I would get one in a heart beat.

I don't know what would be a harder language barrier though, I already have a Russian 91 % which I love, I would really like to get a Svomesto one to support the original manufacturer for a flawless concept.

I just sent a request to them in their website, hope they respond!

I would love a Penelope V3, but the problem is finding one and the price
