Ooo I gotta try that! I only have single coil 28g 8 wraps at 1.3 ohms. Nub question, do I just run the cotton inside the coil and around the base? How do I know if its time to drip again, when I get burnt taste? Thanks Wheat! :vapor:

Yes, run your cotton through the coil and leave a cloud on each side. Try or leave the coil open on the outside so it can get air all over it. I normally drip four drops per coil and get about five good pulls. Not using my dna or my atomic right now but this is how I do my cottons.

Thanks bud! Thats pretty much how I ran my cotton wick. Since its only single, the cotton on the other side didn't really occupy the entire area on that side. I'll re-wick later. THanks again Wheat! :D

Anytime, the only thing I don't like about the Atomic is its small well. It's so easy to over drip it. My Helios and Nimbus have a way bigger well. Just be easy on the amount you drip at once.

Haha I just over dripped and leaked from the air hole! I drip juice by taking out the drip tip, can I drip directly to the air hole? My common sense is not so common tonight >.< Thanks!

Got email from Michele today. Switch card will be sent free, however, warranty will no longer be valid due to my soldering. That's OK with me because now, I'll have an extra switch card in my hands. Maybe I can find a switch I like better with a longer button throw. Just wanted to let everyone know the status.
Today I was viewing a RipTrippers video on the new Sigelei 722. wattages from 7 to 22 watts and I was thinking to myself, no matter how good it is initially, without any warranty, or company standing behind it, it's a no sale for me. After the terrific response from Vaporshark on my issues with my DNA, my thinking has changed considerably on what, and who I buy from. I purchased a $75 mod from Innokin that crapped out due to a poorly designed switch, and all I got was, sorry, it's a china mod, no guarantees. Needless to say, Innokin has never been in this household again and I hold grudges a looong time!

Emailed Michelle at VS and Monday she's going to ask the tech if they can send me a switch card, which I can then solder into my mod. Otherwise, the normal return and wait method will have to do. Even though I've had a couple of issues with my mod. Vaporshark has really come thru for me just fine. Overall, I'm pretty pleased!

Gave a go with a dual coil setup on the VS, same resistance build as my single build (0.6ohm).

More vapor, yes, flavor is pretty good too, but the shorter battery life and the added hassle of having to build & set everything twice isn't worth it for me. Plus, its a bit too wide on the VS, I think it would look much better on a ZNA since it has a brushed finish base.

We're into to the first month. Here's some updated observations:

1) 510 connector possibly showing signs of weakness. The top "cap" part of the connector itself (with the 4 slots in it) moves ever so slightly within the top of the unit. It doesn't come totally undone, or wobble, but there's some movement somewhere. Might just be the retaining nut or whatever. After removing a tank, I can usually put my finger on that cap and twist slightly and feel something move.

2) USB possibly showing some wobble. I only charge it 2-3 times a week, so it's not like I'm abusing the USB port. (I'm getting pretty good runtimes.)... But this morning, went to plug it in... it's the first time I noticed some play in the USB port. It's still solid, no front to back movement, but it doesn't feel as sturdy as when it first arrived.

Everything else seems great so far, but I'll be keeping an eye on the 510 and usb over the coming weeks.

Hi all, I've had my new dna30 for around 2 weeks or so now, and noticed that there seems to be what sort of looks like an air bubble that floats around in the display area behind the glass. I say air bubble, because it rises to the top edge of the display whichever direction I turn it. I have no idea what the nature of the dna30 display is, is it some sort of liquid crystal or plasma, do you know if this is something normal to see, and not a big deal?

I emailed VS about it, and Michele asked that I send her a picture, so I sent 2 closeups. It doesn't affect performance at all, I just want to make sure that its not something that is going to present an issue when I've spent all that money on it.
