Yep. Rdna40, Russian 91, sharkskin, and nickel wire. I thought they may have sent just a few available items but rechecked and everything is headed my way. Lucky I guess. Now I'm hoping I get as lucky with a functioning chip.

Maybe you are getting yours so quickly because the chip is from the old batch? JK dude. Best of luck to you with the silicon lottery. I'm jealous :D

I actually thought the same thing. I was slightly hesitant when ordering it due to that alone but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they wouldn't pull something like that.

I got a shipping notice too for the rDNA40, Russian 91 and Sharkskin that I ordered yesterday.

I wonder if those of us who got the kits got faster shipping since they already had them packaged up? And yes, I really hope it's not the old version of the chip...

Has anyone experienced a juice leak without causing issues? I always find a bit of juice inside and around the 510 connection whenever I remove my atty so leaks could be a huge problem for me.

I believe some members on this forum that fixed the minor leak issue will post pictures today.

Thinking about canceling my order. I really want the ability to swap out my batteries. Sigh.

I had a catastrophic leak (ran down the sides and made a puddle) I opened up the device and ONE drip of juice was in there... As long as it isn't sitting in a puddle of juice it should be ok!

It's not like the device is designed to funnel liquid into the chamber... It does a pretty good job of resisting leakage as long as your screws are tight

The new paint is thicker and forms a bit of a seal

For some reason I was having issues posting earlier. Anyways, I just sent VS an email asking them about the chip version. Will let you know when I hear back.

Well VS is looking even better in my book. Sent them an email maybe 10 minutes ago and just got a response back saying that the kits have the latest chip versions in them. :D

Excellent news! Thanks!

This is my first mod and first dealings with VS. So far, I've been thrilled with the experience!

Not a problem man. My first DNA mod and first dealing with VS too. I was a little leery pulling the trigger on the rdan40 due to some of the bad CS issues I had read about but my dealings with them have been top notch so far.

I try to remember angry people or more apt to gripe and scream than happy people are to praise.
But ive dealt with several of the big name mod mfgs and i have a complaint with all of them some huge complaints as far as CS goes. I cant think of anything but praise for VS customer service. Even when people were clammering and screaming when we pre-ordered they were great imho.

Very true. It seems like the haters are much louder while those with good experiences are too busy enjoying the product to praise.

You have to trick the battery meter to show the correct reading in temperature protection mode according to this post on Vapor Shark's Facebook page.

Vapor Shark Hello Josh, The metering happens in real time only when the device is firing. If you are using a nickel coil and temperature control, you will notice that the meter will behave a bit erratically. Here is why, it is giving you a forecast of remaining battery life based on the last wattage level the device was outputting. Let's say you have a ni200 coil set to 420 degrees and 35 watts. At the beginning of the draw you will likely be close to 35 watts but as the coil comes to temperature the wattage level will be reduced to let's say 6 watts. When you let off the fire button the last wattage output was 6 watts and the battery meter is reflecting a remaining battery life forecast for 6 watts not the 35 watts. That is why, after 16 hours of use, you're still seeing a full battery. You can get an accurate reading if you just let the Wattage spike for the first second and then looking at the meter.

Thanks for the info but I'm not even using temp mode

I just took some of my tape rimjob, but i forgot my password for tapathingy.
I hate having 15 different parameters for passwords... doodie mcdoodieheads.
Takes 5 seconds to cut thin strips of electrical tape and use it as weatherstripping. Best part- cant be seen from the outside. Stull full battery access if you need it.
